๐๐ป ๐ฃ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ผ๐ | 22 ARB Households Complete Plumbing NC I, Receive Starter Toolkits
Twenty-two members of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB) households who completed Plumbing NC I training received starter toolkits through a joint initiative of the Department of Agrarian Reform and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held in Brgy. Poblacion, Mambusao, May 14.
The distribution of toolkits aimed to strengthen the technical skills and livelihood opportunities of the beneficiaries by providing practical equipment that may be used for local employment, small-scale enterprise, and possible overseas work opportunities.
In her opening remarks, Carlette A. Caldeo, MARPO of DARMO Mambusao, emphasized that the program goes beyond skills training as it also provides beneficiaries with the necessary tools to apply their competencies in actual livelihood pursuits.
Jerry N. Lacuarta, CTEC-Mambusao, encouraged the completers to pursue higher qualifications such as Plumbing NC II to further enhance their skills and expand employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Ruth M. Arcangeles, Senior TESD Specialist of PTC-Capiz, reminded the beneficiaries to properly use and maintain their starter toolkits as part of their continued growth as certified plumbing practitioners.
Also present during the activity were Kenneth B. Lavezora, Senior TESD Specialist- PO- Capiz, and other officials from TESDA and DARMO Mambusao.
