🇵🇭 NATIONAL HEROES DAY 2026 🇵🇭
August 31, 2026

The General Services Office, headed by 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙈. 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙖, actively participated in the Training Workshop on the Enhanced Public Financial Management Assessment Tool (ePFMAT) held on August 13–15, 2026 at Asturias Citystate Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.

The ePFMAT provides LGUs with a framework to assess and strengthen their Public Financial Management systems, promoting transparency, accountability, efficiency, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

For the General Services Office, this is especially significant because proper financial management goes beyond budgeting and accounting. It also includes the proper management, safeguarding, utilization, inventory, documentation, and disposal of government properties and assets.

Every government property represents public money. Every property entrusted to us carries public trust. And every responsible action helps strengthen good governance. 🇵🇭🤝
