𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 –𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

As mandated by Republic Act No. 7160, or the Local Government Code of 1991, every municipality is required to hold regular development council meetings to formulate, review, and prioritize programs and projects for local development. With this, the Local Government Unit of Roxas, through the Municipal Development Council (MDC), convened its 1st Semester Full Council Meeting from May 5-6, 2026 at the Function Hall of the Municipal Building.

The session was led by the Municipal Mayor Hon. Pedy Bautista Sabando, Municipal Administrator Atty. Orlando A. Ba-alan and was attended by local officials, department heads, national agencies, sectoral representatives, members of the Civil Service Organizations, and council members with the participation from the office of the 1st District Representative Hon. Cong. Rosalie Salvame. This ensures that planning is consultative, transparent, and aligned with the socio-economic needs of the community.

Through this council meeting, the Municipality of Roxas strengthen its commitment to accountable governance, community-driven planning, long-term development initiatives and implementing projects and programs that foster inclusive growth, peace and order, and cultural preservation for Bayan ng Roxas.

Isinagawa kahapon, ika-4 ng Mayo 2026 ang buwanang Regular Executive Meeting ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Bayan ng Roxas, sa pamumuno ni Punong Bayan Kgg. Pedy Bautista Sabando, sa pangunguna ni Municipal Administrator Atty. Orlando A. Ba-alan, kung saan nagtipon ang mga pangunahing opisyal, mga pinuno ng iba't ibang opisina at mga ahensya ng pamahalaan, upang talakayin ang mga mahalagang isyu ng bayan.

Tinalakay ang mga paghahanda para sa darating ng selebrasyon ng kapiyestahan. Pinagusapan din ang mga kritikal na usapin na nangangailangan ng agarang aksyon para sa taong 2026, at aktibo namang nagbigay ng kanilang mga pananaw at rekomendasyon ang mga dumalo. Ang talakayan ay naging produktibo, kung saan bawat isa ay nagbahagi ng mahahalagang ideya upang makahanap ng tamang solusyon sa mga hamon sa lokal na pamahalaan. Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan, layunin ng pagpupulong na mapabuti pa ang mga serbisyo at mapaunlad ang Bayan ng Roxas.
