The Federation Roxas City Fire and Rescue Volunteers, Inc. (FEROCITY) was officially born on 30 May 2012, when a group of businessmen decided to create a new firefighting organization to address the need for more firefighting equipment and volunteers to augment the already limited resources of the BFP and the increasing population of the Province of Capiz. The first meeting of the founding fathers

of FEROCITY was held on 21 March 2012 at the Urban Manor Hotel at Pueblo de Panay Subdivision in Lawaan, where the need for more firefighters was made to the assembly and the purpose of the meeting was made known. This was also when the name of the organization was agreed upon. Since that day, FEROCITY has been of invaluable support to the BFP and the people of Capiz in all major fire incidents. In the aftermath of Supertyphoon Yolanda which struck the province on 8 November 2013, FEROCITY was instrumental in bringing much needed potable water and relief goods to different municipalities in Capiz, reaching as far as Pilar in the east, Sapian in the west, and Tapaz in the south. The 4th of May is the celebration of INTERNATIONAL FIREFIGHTERS DAY in honor of St. Ferocity Fire and Rescue Volunteers has requested for a rescue ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, to enable it to respond to all emergencies and be true to its calling as a fire and rescue volunteer organization. This request was approved pending final release on 30 January 2017.
