Culasi, Roxas City, Capiz.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of the training, celebrating the graduation of one hundred seventy-three (173) disciplined and highly motivated Coast Guard Non-Officers who demonstrated resilience, professionalism, and unwavering commitment throughout the course. Equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values gained during their training, they now stand ready to uphold the Philippine Coast Guard's mandate and faithfully serve the Filipino people with honor, integrity, and dedication.

The momentous occasion was graced by 𝐕𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Commander, Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command, who served as the Keynote Speaker. In his inspirational message, he congratulated the graduates for successfully completing their training and reminded them that the honor of wearing the Coast Guard uniform is reflected in every decision they make. He encouraged them to always uphold integrity, choose what is right even when no one is watching, and remain steadfast in carrying out their duties with honor, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service.

In celebration of the upcoming 53rd Founding Anniversary of the Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC), the Regional Training Center Capiz (RTC Capiz) Personnel and CGNOC Class 118-2025 "HIRAYA BADARI," under the leadership of LCDR LADY DEANN C TERAZONA PCG, Director, Regional Training Center Capiz, conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive on 17 July 2026 as part of its Pre-Anniversary Activities.

The activity covered the coastal areas from Barangay Baybay to Barangay Culasi, Roxas City, Capiz, spanning an estimated coastline of almost four (4) kilometers. Through the collective efforts of RTC Capiz personnel, trainees, partner agencies, and volunteers, approximately seventy (70) sacks of waste were collected, contributing to the preservation of the coastal environment and promoting environmental awareness among the community.

The activity was supported by various stakeholders, including the Coast Guard Station Capiz, Nursing Service RTC Capiz, Coast Guard Medical First Aid Station Capiz, City Mayor's Office of Roxas City, Barangay Culasi, Barangay Baybay, BFP Roxas City, CDRRMO, PDRRMO, 604th PCGA Squadron Roxas, and Kiwanis Club Roxas.

More importantly, the activity strengthened the Philippine Coast Guard's 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐢𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄) Program by fostering stronger partnerships with the local community, promoting environmental protection, and encouraging shared responsibility in safeguarding the country's coastal and marine resources.

The Regional Training Center Capiz personnel, together with the trainees of CGNOC Class 118-2025 "𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐑I," under the leadership of 𝐋𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐍 𝐂 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐙𝐎𝐍𝐀 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Director, Regional Training Center Capiz, participated in the 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 conducted by the Traffic Safety Unit, Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region VI.

The seminar was conducted as one of the Center's Pre-anniversary Activities in line with the celebration of the upcoming 𝟓𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 (𝐂𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐃𝐂), reaffirming its commitment to developing competent, disciplined, and safety-conscious Coastguardians.

Throughout the activity, participants gained valuable knowledge on defensive driving techniques, road safety principles, traffic laws and regulations, hazard awareness, and accident prevention. The discussions emphasized the importance of responsible driving, sound decision-making, and risk management, which are essential qualities that contribute to mission readiness and the preservation of life.

In recognition of their active participation and successful completion of the seminar, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region VI awarded Certificates of Completion to all participants, signifying their commitment to promoting responsible driving practices and road safety awareness.
