We are now accepting a new batch of aspiring mentees from Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan who are willing to undergo and complete a 10-week intensive mentorship program anchored on improved access to Mentorship, Money, and Market (3Ms).

𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓! 🚨📢🔔⚠️

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) MIMAROPA has received reports of a scam targeting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙢 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠? An unidentified individual poses as a private partner of the DTI, eventually deceiving and scamming the MSMEs. We would like to reiterate that the agency only partners with legitimate and credible organizations.

We encourage the public to be cautious when responding to such messages. Never share your passwords, sensitive business data, personal information, or, most importantly, your one-time passwords (OTPs), especially when dealing with financial transactions.

Please report suspicious requests or transactions to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group and other government institutions responsible for combating illegal acts committed through information and communications technology (ICT).

Consumers and MSMEs may also visit the nearest DTI office or Negosyo Center for assistance in reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities or verifying the legitimacy of transactions.

Mahalagang malaman ang pagkakaiba ng Basic Necessities at Prime Commodities.

Ayon sa RA 7581 o Price Act, ang Basic Necessities (BN) ay mga produktong kailangan para mabuhay at manatiling malusog, lalo na sa panahon ng sakuna o krisis. Samantala, ang Prime Commodities (PC) ay hindi pangunahing pangangailangan pero mahalaga pa rin sa pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay, ayon sa Price Act.

DTI Palawan intensifies Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs) Price and Supply Monitoring Amid Middle East–Asia Crisis

📍 Monitoring Dates:
• March 16–17, 2026 – Roxas, Palawan
• March 23–24, 2026 – El Nido, Palawan

Recent monitoring shows:
• Continuous and adequate supply of essential goods
• No supply shortages or market disruptions observed

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Palawan continues to strengthen monitoring efforts across the province to ensure price stability and sufficient supply amid the ongoing Middle East–Asia crisis.

This initiative supports proactive assessment of potential impacts of global developments on local markets, helping prevent price spikes and maintain availability of essential goods.

Consumers are encouraged to report any price or supply irregularities to the nearest DTI office.
