Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Sablayan, Calintaan and Rizal) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in (Paluan, AbraDeIlog, Lubang, Looc, Mamburao, SantaCruz, SanJose, Magsaysay), (Coron, Busuanga, Culion, ElNido, Linapacan, Taytay, Dumaran, Agutaya, Cuyo, Araceli, Roxas, SanVicente, Magsaysay, PuertoPrincesaCity and Narra) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (AbraDeIlog, Calintaan), (PuertoPrincesaCity, Aborlan, Quezon, Narra and Taytay) within the next 1 to 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in (SantaCruz, Sablayan), (Dumaran, Araceli and ElNido) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

As of 2:00 AM today, 26 September 2025, Typhoon "OPONG" (Int'l name "BUALOI") has weakened into a Severe Tropical Storm and is still being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

AMENDED: As of 8:00 PM today, 25 September 2025, Severe Tropical Storm "OPONG" (Int'l name "BUALOI") has intensified into Typhoon and is still being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The center of Severe Tropical Storm OPONG was estimated based on all available data including those from Guiuan Doppler Weather Radar at 150 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (11.6°N, 126.8°E).
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 980 hPa.
• Present Movement
West northwestward at 20 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to storm-force winds extend outwards up to 460 km from the center

The center of Severe Tropical Storm OPONG was estimated based on all available data including those from Guiuan Doppler Weather Radar at 195 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar or 225 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (11.5°N, 127.5°E).
Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 980 hPa.

Westward at 15 km/h
