OMOB TOURISM PHOTO CONTEST in Cooperation with Occidental Mindoro Provincial tourism Office.
THEME:

Nature/Travel/Tourist Attraction/Wildlife/Heritage and Culture around Occidental Mindoro

Term of the Contest:
* Start of Submission of Entries: Feb 5, 2022
* Deadline of submission of entries: March 14, 2022, at 5:00 PM, Ph. time.
* Start of voting @ OMOB FB Group March 15, 2022 upon posting
* End of voting @ OMOB FB Group March 21,2022 @ 12 MN Ph time
*Who may join:
• The photography contest is open to all Occidental Mindoro residence, who are members of Occidental Mindoro Opinion Board (OMOB) Facebook group
• Participant shall be allowed to submit ONE ENTRY only.
• Photographs must have been recently shot.
• For a photo in which a person is recognizable, the photographer is responsible for securing permission from that person or, in the case of a minor, from the subject’s parent or guardian.
• The photographs taken in any mediums such as digital, analog, mobile or any alternative process are encouraged to submit.
• Pictures must not show the name of the photographer. agency or any other information.
• All photos must be original work, the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
•Photos must be in their original form , not super - imposed or restricted or edited in any photo editing software,manipulated photo will NOT be accepted,Only basic enhancement like cropping ,resizing and minor adjustment in brightness and contrast will be allowed,photos altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified
• Submit high/good resolutions photographs in JPEG/JPG/PNG format
*How to join the Contest:
• Submit your entry photograph and digital copy together with your name, address ,contact number and location where the photo was taken to OMOB admin and moderators or to the provincial tourism office with the following requirements:
1. 8R size, color print,
2. JPEG/JPG/PNG Format File with a minimum size of 1MB
• All photos submitted shall become properties of OMOB
• By joining the contest, the entrant is considered to have granted OMOB and Occidental Mindoro provincial tourism office the permission or license to use the photos, along with the names of the photographers, for various publications and marketing collaterals of Occidental Mindoro Provincial tourism office, to further promote the province tourism and for other purposes.
Criteria :
1. Relevance to the Theme (How well the photo interprets the theme ): 25%
2. Creativity (How the photographer showed some creative thoughts. How the subject matter is pictured in a unique and interesting way): 25%
3. Technique (Use of elements of photography. Whether the photo showed balance in light, focus, depth of field, etc.): 25%
4. Overall impact (Whether the photo was able to grab and hold the viewers’ attention ( No. of likes @ OMOB FB Group ): 25%

1.Mobile ( Cellphone Cam)
2.Digital Photography (DSLR and Drone)
