The personnel of the Office of the Election Officer Sagada joined the Barangay Serbisyo Caravan together with the National and Local Agencies at Barangay Suyo, Sagada.

OEO,Sagada shared the calendar of Activities for the upcoming November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections highlighting the requirements for filing Certificate of Candidacy on September 28-October 5,2026 and the active participation of the youth and the Election stakeholders.

Intramuros, Manila – Inaprubahan ng COMELEC En Banc sa isang Referendum/Consultation noong July 24, 2026 ang pagsama ng “Sworn Declaration on Conflict of Interest” sa Certificate of Candidacy (COC) na ihahain ng mga balak tumakbo bilang kandidato mula November 2, 2026 Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (2026 BSKE) hanggang sa mga susunod na halalan matapos nito. Ang Sworn Declaration on Conflict of Interest ay mababasa sa COC bilang:

Ayon sa Section 3(i) ng Republic Act No. 6713, o ang Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials, mayroong “Conflict of Interest” kung ang isang pampublikong opisyal o kawani ay miyembro ng board, o opisyal, o mahalagang stockholder ng isang pribadong korporasyon o may-ari o may malaking interes sa negosyo, at ang interes sa nasabing korporasyon o negosyo, o ang mga karapatan o tungkulin doon, ay maaaring hindi sang-ayon sa o makaapekto sa tapat na pagsasagawa ng opisyal na tungkulin.

Ipinagbabawal din sa ilalim ng Section 3(h) ng Republic Act No. 3019, o ang Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, na magkaroon ng pinansyal o pecuniary interes, direkta man o hindi, ang isang pampublikong opisyal sa anumang negosyo, kontrata o transaksyon na maaari siyang mamagitan o makibahagi sa kanyang opisyal na kapasidad.

Kahalintulad ng pagsumite ng Certificate of Live Birth o Birth Certificate, ang pagsama ng deklarasyon na ito sa COC ay hindi dagdag kwalipikasyon o kondisyon para sa mga nais kumandidato, bagkus ito ay isang pahayag ng pagsunod sa mga umiiral na batas at bahagi ng pagsulong ng transparency para sa sambayanang Pilipino. # # #

Pakaamu kakailyan!

📢 Handa ka na bang tumakbo sa BSKE 2026?

Bago maghain ng COC, siguraduhin na kwalipikado ka bilang Chairperson o Miyembro ng Sangguniang Kabataan.

✔ Dapat ay:
• Mamamayan ng Pilipinas;
• Kwalipikadong botante ng Katipunan ng Kabataan;
• Residente ng naturang barangay nang hindi bababa sa isang (1) taon bago ang araw ng halalan;
• Hindi bababa sa labingwalong (18) taong gulang ngunit hindi hihigit sa 24 taong gulang sa araw ng halalan.
(Dapat ipinanganak mula November 2, 2002 hanggang November 2, 2008)
• Marunong bumasa at sumulat ng Filipino o alinmang lokal na wika o diyalekto; at
• Walang kamag-anak hanggang 2nd degree of consanguinity o affinity sa sinumang kasalukuyang nanunungkulan na nahalal na opisyal ng bansa o ng rehiyon, probinsya, lungsod, munisipalidad, o barangay sa lokalidad kung saan nais mahalal
• Hindi dapat nahatulan ng final sa anumang krimen na may kinalaman sa moral turpitude.

Ang pagiging kwalipikado ay mahalagang unang hakbang sa paglilingkod sa inyong komunidad.
