ADVANCING HIV AWARENESS WITH GENDER SENSITIVITY

On June 2, 2026, the Municipal Health Office and RHU Saguiaran successfully conducted the "Advancing HIV Awareness with Gender Sensitivity" program at the Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion, Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur. The activity aimed to strengthen public awareness on HIV prevention, promote gender-sensitive health education, and encourage a more inclusive and stigma-free community.

This meaningful event was made possible through the unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jalalodin L. M. Angin, together with his better half, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Rohaisa S. Balang- Angin. The program was also graced by the presence of Municipal Councilors Hon. Sultan Gaus Cabib Macadar and Hon. Nur Hassan Tanggo.

Under the leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Shalman B. Satar, the activity was successfully carried out with the active participation of various stakeholders and community members.

The program commenced with an energetic Zumba exercise led by the men in uniform from PNP Saguiaran, Sir Keith and Sir Ahral (Augmented Personnel), together with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Saguiaran, promoting the importance of physical wellness as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The educational sessions featured distinguished speakers who shared valuable insights on HIV awareness and gender sensitivity. Dr. Monera Luzviminda M. Macud, Medical Specialist IV from Amai Pakpak Medical Center, delivered a comprehensive lecture on "Understanding HIV and AIDS," while Dr. Hasana H. Malic-Unda, Executive Assistant of the Bangsamoro Women Commission, Lanao del Sur, discussed "From Stigma to Strength: Gender-Sensitive Approaches to HIV Education."

The event was further strengthened by the presence and support of our partners from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO): Dr. Samina L. Zaman Hadji Jamel, Infectious Disease Medical Coordinator; Ma'am Vaisha M. Undac-Polaos, OIC-Chief of Administrative Services; and Ma'am Omailyn Abdul Ali, RN, HIV Coordinator.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Provincial Officer II, Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, MPH, MPM, MSPH-MHA, CESE, for his continuous guidance, support, and commitment to improving healthcare services in our province.

Most importantly, we extend our sincere appreciation to all participants whose active involvement and enthusiasm contributed to the success of this event.

‎In compliance with the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (𝗥𝗣𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗔) and 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 1991, the Local Government Unit of Saguiaran, under the leadership of Hon. Jalalodin M.L. Angin, through the Municipal Assessor’s Office headed by Engr. Basarie M. Dimacaling, respectfully informs all residents, property owners, stakeholders, and interested constituents of the proposed 2026 Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the assessment and classification of real properties within the Province of Lanao del Sur.
‎For everyone's information, the Schedule of Market Values (SMV) is the official and localized list of base market values for real property (land, buildings, machinery) that will be used by the Province of Lanao del Sur to determine fair property tax assessment.

‎The proposed Schedule of Market Values has been prepared in accordance with the following:
‎✔️Philippine Valuation Standards (PVS)
‎✔️ Sections 212–216 of the Local Government Code of 1991
‎✔️Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RVARA)
‎✔️ Applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Department of Finance (DOF) through the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF)

Yesterday marked a significant milestone as the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data Turnover between the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Local Government of Saguiaran was successfully conducted.

The activity was graced by ENGR. AKAN G. TULA, MPA (OIC Regional Director – BARMM), YASRULLAH D. SHEIK, JD (Senior Statistical Specialist and CBMS Provincial Focal Person), and MOHAMMADALI R. ALONTO, MPA (OIC-Chief Statistical Specialist, Lanao del Sur), represented by ALCASIMEN D. MARANGIT, Statistical Specialist II.

Representing the Local Chief Executive was Vice Mayor Rohaisa Salic Balang Angin, with Municipal Councilor Cabib B. Macadar, Chief of Staff Soraimah Aisah P. Maruhom, JD, and Engr. Mohammad Hassim S. Balang, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator.

This was made possible through the efforts of Muhammad Baidhawi M. Muti and Engr. Abdullah M. Cosain.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all partners and participants who made the Advocacy Campaign on PSA Services and Mobile Registration a success, held at the Municipal Gymnasium of Saguiaran. This activity was made possible through the collaboration of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Saguiaran and other stakeholders. We also acknowledge the representation of the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Jalalodin M.L. Angin, through the Sangguniang Bayan, with Hon. Amrollah S. Macote delivering the Opening Remarks and Hon. Nur-Hassan M. Tanggo for his support and presence.

Lahat ng internet, telecom, cable, fiber optic, at kahalintulad na providers sa Saguiaran ay inaatasang tumalima sa lahat ng permits, clearances, at certifications sa ilalim ng Ordinance No. 04-2026.

Ang hindi dumalo sa itinakdang pagdinig ng Sangguniang Bayan sa kabila ng wastong paunawa ay itinuturing na nabigong gamitin ang pagkakataong marinig.

Binibigyan ang lahat ng sampung (10) araw mula sa paglalathala nito upang makumpleto ang compliance.

Paglampas ng taning, lahat ng unauthorized, illegal, o non-compliant lines, wires, cables, at installations ay sasailalim sa automatic removal, disconnection, o cutting, bukod pa sa fines, penalties, at iba pang lawful sanctions.

Makipag-ugnayan agad sa Munisipyo upang maiwasan ang enforcement action at abala sa serbisyo.
