The Local Government Unit of Saguiaran sincerely thanks the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) – Lanao del Sur Provincial Field Office for the successful conduct of the LoGFA Onsite Provincial Validation on September 1, 2026.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Provincial Director Cader D. Indar, Jr., together with Chief Sharifah Serad, Chief Janirah Tago, Atty. Bale Camama, Janina Pangandaman, Johara M. Ibra, and Amin G. Umpar, for their time, professionalism, and valuable guidance throughout the assessment.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

This is to inform the general public that there will be a temporary rerouting of vehicular traffic tomorrow, August 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in connection with an official activity of the Municipal Government of Saguiaran.

Motorists are advised to take the designated alternative routes and to observe traffic regulations and instructions from traffic personnel to ensure the orderly and safe flow of traffic.

We respectfully ask for the public’s cooperation and understanding.

📌 BARMM-WIDE OPERATION: BAKLAS TARPAULIN

Bilang bahagi ng BARMM-wide Operation Baklas Tarpaulin, nagsagawa ng clearing operation ang LGU Saguiaran, sa pangunguna ng GSO Office, katuwang ang COMELEC Saguiaran, para sa pagpapatupad ng Municipal Ordinance No. 010-25, Series of 2025, at mga umiiral na patakaran ng COMELEC.

Layunin ng operasyon na alisin ang mga tarpaulin at election materials na nakapaskil sa mga ipinagbabawal o hindi awtorisadong lugar, at mapanatili ang kaayusan at pagsunod sa batas sa Bayan ng Saguiaran.

Isang malinis, maayos at disiplinadong Saguiaran para sa lahat.

📚 PAGKAKAISA PARA SA EDUKASYON NG KABATAANG SAGUIARAN

Nakibahagi ang LGU Saguiaran sa TORIL Schools Outreach Program, katuwang ang PAFCPIC CDO Branch at ang 4th Mechanized Battalion, Philippine Army, na nagbigay ng school supplies, hygiene kits, pagkain, at iba pang tulong sa 112 mag-aaral mula sa tatlong TORIL Schools.

Pinangunahan ang programa nina Mayor Hon. Jalalodin M. Angin, Ms. Donna Louise S. Dela Peña ng PAFCPIC CDO Branch, at LTC Eugene C. Flores, Commanding Officer ng 4th Mechanized Battalion.

Patunay ang programang ito na sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan, mas marami tayong mabibigyan ng pag-asa at mas magandang kinabukasan.

LGU SAGUIARAN JOINS THE 2026 WORLD DAY AGAINST TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS

Today, July 30, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Saguiaran stands in solidarity with the international community in commemorating the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

This year's official theme, "Trapped Behind the Scam," highlights the growing threat of human trafficking through online scam operations, where victims are deceived by fake job offers and forced by criminal networks to participate in cyber-enabled fraud. It is a reminder that human trafficking continues to evolve, demanding stronger awareness, vigilance, and cooperation from all sectors of society.

The LGU of Saguiaran, through the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC), reaffirms its unwavering commitment to preventing trafficking, protecting victims and survivors, prosecuting offenders, and strengthening partnerships to safeguard our communities.

Let us remain informed, report suspicious activities, and work together to protect every person from exploitation.

Together, we can break the chains of trafficking and build a safer, more compassionate community for all.

June 29, 2026 | 1st Saguiaran Inter-Barangay Pickleball Tournament

As part of the Araw ng Saguiaran 2026 celebration, the Municipality of Saguiaran successfully held the 1st Saguiaran Inter-Barangay Pickleball Tournament, bringing together pickleball enthusiasts from the municipality's different barangays in a showcase of skill, sportsmanship, and unity.

The tournament reflects the municipal government's commitment, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Jalalodin M. Angin and Hon. Vice Mayor Rohaisa Balang - Angin, to promoting sports development, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and strengthening camaraderie among our communities.

As part of the Araw ng Saguiaran 2026 celebration, the Municipality of Saguiaran successfully held its 1st LGU Pickleball Tournament, bringing together LGU employees for a day of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun.

As we celebrate this year's theme, "Honoring Our Legacy, Shaping Our Tomorrow," we recognize that shaping a better future also means embracing new ways to promote wellness, unity, and a positive workplace. Pickleball may be one of today's fastest-growing sports, but the values it encourages - discipline, teamwork, and camaraderie, have always been part of who we are.

LOOK | Municipal Qur'an Reading Competition

June 27, 2026 - As part of the Araw ng Saguiaran 2026 celebration, the Ulama Council of the Municipality of Saguiaran, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Jalalodin M. Angin, proudly conducted the Municipal Qur'an Reading Competition.

More than a showcase of excellence in Qur'an recitation, the event served as a celebration of our shared faith, values, and identity as a Muslim community. Participants from different barangays came together to demonstrate their knowledge, dedication, and deep reverence for the Holy Qur'an, with every recitation reflecting the principles that continue to guide our people - faith, humility, discipline, and unity.

This initiative reflects one of the key priorities of Hon. Mayor Jalalodin M. Angin to support programs that strengthen Islamic values, promote moral development among the youth, and preserve the rich religious heritage of Saguiaran. Through activities like this, the municipal governement of Saguiaran continues to create opportunities that nurture both excellence and faith within the community.

Anchored on this year's theme, "Honoring Our Legacy, Shaping Our Tomorrow," the competition reminds us that our greatest legacy is the faith and values we faithfully pass on to the next generation.
