DEFEAT DENGUE: JOIN THE 4 O’CLOCK CLEAN-UP HABIT!
In light of the rising dengue cases and the ongoing rainy sea*on, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) strongly urges all residents to practice the "4 o’Clock Clean-up Habit" every day.
Mosquitoes carrying the dengue virus are most active in the early morning and late afternoon. By taking a few minutes at 4:00 PM daily, we can collectively destroy their breeding grounds and protect our families and community.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
During the daily 4:00 PM clean-up:
* Search and Destroy: Check and clear all potential water-holding containers (flower vases, old tires, tin cans, buckets, clogged gutters, and pet bowls). Drain standing water immediately.
* Self-Protection Measures: Wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants, and use mosquito repellent when outdoors.
* Seek Early Consultation: Visit the nearest Health Center immediately if you or any family member experience a sudden fever lasting more than two days, body aches, or rashes.
