Salay Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Joel B Gentallan, OIC Municipal Fire Marshal, guided by 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗟 𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗧, Provincial Fire Marshal , with the direct supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗩 𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘, DSC, Acting Regional Director of BFP-10, pesonnel of this station proudly joins Brigada Eskwela 2026 with this year's theme,"𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻: 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝘆𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻."

Salay Fire Station helped prepare our schools for the opening of classes and promoting fire safety for the protection of every learner. Beyond cleaning classrooms and school grounds, our personnel help inspect fire safety measures, identify potential hazards, and educate the school community on fire prevention.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Salay Fire Station, in partnership with the Barangay Council of Casulog, successfully conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive along the shoreline of Barangay Casulog. This meaningful activity reflects our shared commitment to environmental protection, community responsibility, and disaster risk reduction.

Through teamwork and volunteerism, participants collected and properly disposed of waste along the coastal area, helping preserve our marine ecosystem while promoting environmental awareness among the community.

The BFP Salay Fire Station extends its sincere appreciation to the Barangay Council of Casulog and all volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make this activity a success. Together, we continue to prove that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility.

The personnel of Bureau of Fire Protection Salay Fire Station proudly served as the host of the Municipal Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Municipal Basketball court of Salay Misamis Oriental.

The activity brought together officials, department heads, employees, and stakeholders of the Local Government Unit to reaffirm their commitment to public service, unity, and nation-building. As the hosting office, BFP Salay facilitated the program and highlighted the importance of fire safety awareness, disaster preparedness, and community engagement in building a safer and more resilient municipality.

Through this activity, BFP Salay continues to strengthen its partnership with the local government and the community in promoting public safety and delivering quality service with dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

Personnel of BFP Salay Fire Station and PNP Salay actively participated in the Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CBDRRM) Lecture Series conducted at Salay River 1, Salay, Misamis Oriental.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness and preparedness by providing residents with essential information on disaster risk reduction, emergency response, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and the importance of community participation during emergencies and disasters. The lecture also served as a venue for fostering collaboration between government agencies and the local community in promoting a culture of safety and resilience.
Through this initiative, BFP Salay and PNP Salay reaffirm their commitment to empowering communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent disasters, minimize risks, and respond effectively during emergencies.

BFP personnel from Salay Fire Station conducted Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) Lecture and Drill at Barangay Poblacion, Salay, Misamis Oriental. This activity continuously strengthens its commitment to ensuring public safety through community-based programs.

On the conducted activity at Brgy. Poblacion, the program focused on educating the community on fire safety practices, hazard identification, and basic emergency response. Considering that residential areas are highly vulnerable to fire incidents due to congested structures and unsafe electrical practices, it is essential to equip residents with proper knowledge and skills to minimize risks and potential losses.
