With a strong spirit of service, ROTC and CWTS students from ESSU Salcedo, took part in a tree planting activity spearheaded by NSTP Head, Professor Maria Nilda Quirante, at Salcedo Watershed on Saturday, March 29, 2025, demonstrating their commitment to restoring our forests. 🌱💚

Their efforts, alongside MENRO personnel (Watershed Maintainer & YOCENCA Caretaker) and the support of Salcedo Disaster and Emergency Response Team (SDERT), show that small actions today create a lasting impact for the future.

Together, we grow towards a more sustainable and greener world! 🌍✨

Seeking Scratch Paper for Reuse!

We're looking for scratch paper that can still be used for printing on the other side. If you have any old papers with blank or unused backs, we’d love to give them a second life. Please let us know if you have any to spare or if you could drop them off at MENR Office, Plan Building, Purisima Street, Poblacion 03, Salcedo.

Sharing the snaps from the 2024 Youth Earth Day: Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Local Youth Development Office and the Sangguninag Kabataan Federation of Salcedo last Saturday, April 20, 2024 at YOCENCA, Barangay Naparaan, Salcedo, Eastern Samar.

The activity was participated by Salcedo Municipal Police, ESSU Salcedo, SIKAT Inc., Triskelion De Salcedo, Sigma Phi, Sima Upsilon, Rho Sigma and Rholamda Chapter, Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons and different youth organizations in Salcedo.

EARTH MONTH: 2024 Salcedo Youth EARTH DAY! 🌏🌱

The month of April is recognized as " The Month of the Planet Earth" by virtue of Proclamation No. 1482 series of 2008. This proclamation acknowledges the Philippine's support for the global consensus on protecting and saving our planet for environmental degradation.

In celebration of the Earth Month 2024, the Local Youth Development Office of Salcedo and the Sangguniang Kabataan Federated in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) will conduct a tree planting activity this coming April 20, 2024 (3:00PM) at YOCENCA, Naparaan, Salcedo E. Samar.

We cordially invite all SK Officials, Youth Organizations and Environmental Advocates to celebrate Earth Day with a shared sense of purpose.

Join us in Celebrating Earth Day by adopting Youth -led climate actions, including reforestation and tree planting efforts.
