RATIONALE
The Moral Recovery Program will primarily aim to inculcate the following virtues for national development: pride in being Filipino; caring and sharing; integrity and accountability; self-reliance; good manners and right conduct which shall also cover the value and habits of courtesy, analysis in accordance with Proclamation No. 62 dated 30 September 1992. To institutionalize the Moral Re
covery Program as an official government policy in strengthening the moral resources of the Filipino people rooted in Filipino culture, values and ideals that are pro God, pro people, pro country and pro nature, and enjoined the active participation of all sectors in Filipino Society in accordance with Executive No. 319 date April 3, 1996. Thus, the Local Chief Executive issued an Executive Order No. 08 Series of 2016 “An order creating the Moral Recovery Program of the Island Garden City of Samal includes its scope, composition, roles and functions” to show full support in the implementation of the said program. GOAL
To infuse into the organization’s culture, systems and processes the moral recovery crusade for Filipino core values. OBJECTIVES
• To identify the core values needed to make a person strong against the temptations of committing administrative and criminal offences;
• To strengthen the relationships and cooperation among the staff and leaders, releasing stress and pressure accumulated between co-workers and developing teamwork that result to greater productivity in the workplace;
• To strengthen spirituality through prayer, meditation and appreciation of the blessings of the Lord in thanksgiving;
• To come with ideas or insights strategic for excellent service.
