Subject: GUIDELINES ON STUDENT UNIFORM, ATTIRE, AND GROOMING
The Office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS) hereby issues the updated Guidelines on Student Uniform, Attire, and Grooming for all students of EARIST Manila and Cavite.
For Freshmen and Transferees:
Students without the prescribed uniform may wear a white shirt with minimal design, paired with appropriate dark-colored pants, trousers, or maong, or a skirt not higher than two (2) inches above the knee, with appropriate footwear.
This temporary attire shall be allowed until September 15, 2026 only. Beginning September 16, 2026, the prescribed uniform shall be required. Students who already have their institutional uniform or shirt may wear it immediately.
ATTIRE SCHEDULE
โข Monday & Wednesday: Institutional Uniform
โข Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: Institutional Shirt; students may still wear the complete Institutional Uniform on these days
โข Saturday: Wash Day
โข Sunday: NSTP Uniform for scheduled NSTP activities
โข PE Uniform: Only during PE classes or authorized sports activities
GROOMING GUIDELINES
Students may express themselves through appropriate grooming while maintaining cleanliness and proper decorum. Hair of any length is allowed, subdued brown shades are permitted, tattoos are allowed provided they are not offensive or discriminatory, appropriate earrings/piercings may be worn, and makeup is allowed for all genders provided that it is appropriate and not excessive.
REMINDER: The EARIST ID must be worn visibly and properly at all times inside the campus. Students without an Institute ID (for freshmen and transferees only) may present their Certificate of Registration (COR) when entering the Institute.
All students are enjoined to observe the prescribed attire, grooming standards, proper decorum, inclusivity, and discipline within the Institute.
