Today, a re-echo session of Hospital Housekeeping Training was successfully conducted for our hospital personnel.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Geraldo Gallos Jr. and Ms. Rosie Jean Manato for sharing their knowledge and the valuable learnings they gained from the training, ensuring that best practices in hospital housekeeping are cascaded to our staff.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Romblon Provincial Hospital headed by Dr. Christian John D.C. Que, in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) led by Atty. Glenn Niño M. Sartillo for hosting the said training and for providing our personnel with the opportunity to enhance their skills and competencies in maintaining quality services.

Last June 16, 2026, Tablas Island District Hospital welcomed the validation and inspection team for the assessment of medical equipment provided through Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of Department of Health. This activity ensures that the equipment are properly installed, functional and compliant with standards to support the delivery of services to our community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of this activity.

Smiles were brighter today as DOH-MIMAROPA Center for Health Development successfully conducted the Save Our Smiles Program on April 21, 2026 at Tablas Island District Hospital. 😀🫶🏻

Led by Oral Health Program Regional Coordinator, Dr. Clarissa DG. Manuel and team, together with Provincial Health Office headed by PHO II Dr. Lino Marcus Viola III and PHO I Dr. Deogracias Muleta, Provincial Health Office Dentist, Dr. Ma. Teresa M. Tirol along with Dr. Ivylyn A. Malla, Dr. Harold R. Sabino, Dr. Virginia P. Gado, Dr. Maria Jemma J. Gado, Dr. Frederick M. Blanco and with the TIDH Dentist, Dr. Marivic C. Montesa and TIDH staff, the activity provided needed dental services to our community.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to promote oral health and to bring quality care closer to every patient.

Tablas Island District Hospital successfully conducted its 1st Meeting for the 2nd Quarter of 2026.

Key highlights of the meeting included the presentation of RLED findings and the proposed floor plan, training feedback for March 2026, and the Client Satisfaction Survey results for March 2026. Updates were also shared on the upcoming Dental Mission to be held at TIDH on April 21, 2026. Other important matters were likewise discussed to further strengthen hospital operations and service delivery.
