IN PHOTOS || San Andres Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Jose T Matienzo Jr, Officer-In-Charge, participated on the orientation meeting, launching the Infrastructure Audit (IA) Program by the DILG Memo Circular No.2025-071 Policy Guidelined Enjoining Local Government Units in the Implementation of the Infrastructure Audit Program. The newly organized LGU Infrastructure Audit Team discussed a strategic framework for the municipality. The plan involves a proposed audit utilizing specialized toolkits and manuals provided by the DILG. Civil engineers will lead the technical inspections, focusing initially on baseline data gathering and the assessment of public buildings to ensure they meet modern safety requirements. on beginning systematic safety assessments of local structures.

Through these infrastructure audits, San Andres is actively building a more secure and resilient future, ensuring that its public structures stand strong for generations to come and safeguard the lives of its community. 🔥🚒

IN PHOTOS || San Andres Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Jose T Matienzo Jr, Officer-In-Charge,, conducted coordination meeting with National High Schools in the municipality of San Andres in preparation for the upcoming Fire Prevention Month (FPM) 2026, with the theme “Sa Pag-Iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa,” this March.

These activities aim to educate, inspire, and empower students to become advocates of fire prevention through artistic expression. By participating in Spoken Poetry, Infomercial, Jingle, and Poster Making contests, students will not only showcase their talents but also help spread life-saving fire safety knowledge.
Through this initiative, we strengthen community involvement, encourage responsibility, and build a safer, more fire-resilient Calolbonganons.

Let us work together in promoting fire safety awareness. Together, we can prevent fire and save lives! 🔥🚒

San Andres Fire Station duty Fire Safety Inspectors under the leadership of SFO4 Jose T Matienzo Jr, Officer-In-Charge conducted Fire Safety Inspection utilizing Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) body-worn cameras issued by the BFP Cantanduanes as part of the Bureau’s ongoing initiatives to modernize its operations and further improve public service delivery.

These PoC body-worn cameras aim to strengthen transparency and accountability during fire safety inspections of business establishments by allowing personnel to properly record on-site activities and ensure strict adherence to Republic Act No. 9514, also known as the Fire Code of the Philippines, along with its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
