The Public Employment Service Office-PESO San Andres successfully conducted the PESO San Andres Job Fair 2026 on August 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at San Andres, Covered Court, as part of its continuing efforts to facilitate employment opportunities for residents of the municipality.
The activity was spearheaded by PESO Manager Kim Christian V. Nazareno, in coordination with participating employers, government agencies, and local government personnel. The job fair provided jobseekers with an accessible venue where they could explore available employment opportunities, submit applications, and obtain relevant information on recruitment and employment services.
A total of seven employers participated in the activity, including Ardci Microfinance Inc., Negros for Women Tomorrow Foundation Inc., Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) โ Catanduanes, ACC Hypermart, Virac Sunrise Saver's Supermart, Mayon International Manpower Services, and Tai-Fil Manpower Services Corp., along with other participating establishments.
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also took part in the activity by providing information, assistance, and services relevant to employment and overseas employment opportunities.
The conduct of the job fair was likewise supported by Municipal Mayor Hon. Aly T. Romano, reflecting the commitment of the Municipal Government of San Andres to promote employment generation and expand access to livelihood and career opportunities for its constituents.
The successful implementation of the activity was made possible through the collective efforts of the PESO and CTEC personnel. Members of the PESO team, namely Ma. Alvie Aquino, Japh Dominic Bendal, and Arvie Liad, together with CTEC staff Evanel Sodela and Leizl Delos Reyes, and Conefe Rebuya, provided assistance in the preparation, coordination, registration, facilitation, and overall management of the event.
Anchored on the tagline โTrabaho Naming, Magkatrabaho Kayo!โ, PESO San Andres continues to strengthen its role in connecting qualified jobseekers with employers and in bringing employment services closer to the community.
The job fair forms part of the municipalityโs continuing efforts to promote inclusive employment, support workforce development, and provide residents with opportunities to improve their economic well-being.
Through sustained collaboration among the Municipal Government of San Andres, PESO, participating employers, DOLE, DMW, PSA, and other partner institutions, the municipality remains committed to creating avenues that empower its constituents to access decent employment and build more secure livelihoods.
