๐ SCPF BARANGAY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Under the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF) "Bawat Barangay Makikinabang" Scholarship Program, each barangay is allocated 5 slots for Presidential Scholars.
Each selected student receives (PhP 20,000) in cash assistance per academic year.
The guidelines and application requirements for this barangay scholarship generally include the following:
๐๐ปMust be a bonafide resident of your barangay.
๐๐ปEducation Level: Incoming 3rd & 4th-year college students are typically prioritized
๐๐ปFrom vulnerable households
๐๐ป At risk of dropping out
๐๐ปFrom families with no college graduates
๐๐ปAcademic Standing: Must have a
General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85% or 88% with no failing grades.
๐๐ปFinancial Status: Must belong to a low-income or underprivileged family.
๐๐ปExisting Scholarships: Preference is often given to students who do not currently enjoy other major government or private scholarships.
๐๐ปGood Moral Character: Must have no disciplinary or criminal records.
๐๐ปProof of Enrollment: Certificate of Registration (COR) or a Certificate of Enrollment (COE) from your current university/college, or Previous COR/COE
๐๐ปAcademic Records: Certified true copy of grades or the latest report card.
๐๐ปThe Sangguniang Barangay will review all applications to select the top 5 most deserving candidates based on transparent ranking and potential interviews.
