Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Tapaz, Mambusao), (Valderrama, Culasi, LauaAn, Barbaza, Tibiao), (Miagao, Tigbauan, Leon, Oton), (Jordan, Buenavista, NuevaValencia), (SanCarlosCity, Murcia, BacolodCity, Pulupandan, Valladolid, LaCarlotaCity, SalvadorBenedicto), (Madalag, Balete, Altavas, Batan and NewWashington) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in (BagoCity), (Sibunag, SanLorenzo), (Igbaras, Guimbal, Tubungan), (Bugasong, Patnongon), (Jamindan), (Libacao, Makato, Tangalan, Malinao, Kalibo, Numancia, Lezo and Banga) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "MAYMAY" {KUJIRA} was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Dinapigue, Isabela (16.8°N, 122.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving East Southeastward at 35 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, and the western section of Visayas.

FORECAST:
Occidental Mindoro, Antique and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon.
The rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms.
Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience moderate to strong winds from the Southwest with moderate to rough seas.

PAGTAYA:
Ang Occidental Mindoro, Antique at Palawan kabilang ang Kalayaan Islands ay magkakaroon ng maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at pagkulog-pagkidlat dulot ng Habagat.
Ang nalalabing bahagi ng Visayas ay magkakaroon ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may mga pulu-pulong pag-ulan o pagkulog-pagkidlat dulot ng mga lokalisadong thunderstorm.
Ang Visayas, Palawan kabilang ang Kalayaan Islands, at Occidental Mindoro ay makararanas ng katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na hanging mula sa timog-kanluran na may katamtaman hanggang sa maalon na karagatan.

Ang Occidental Mindoro, Antique ug Palawan lakip ang Kalayaan Islands makasinati og madag-umon nga kalangitan nga adunay panagsang pag-ulan ug mga pagpanalugdog tungod sa Habagatang-Kasadpang Habagat (Habagat).
Ang nahibiling bahin sa Visayas makasinati og bahin nga madag-umon hangtod sa madag-umon nga kalangitan nga adunay inusarang mga pag-ulan o pagpanalugdog tungod sa lokalisadong mga thunderstorm.
Ang Visayas, Palawan lakip ang Kalayaan Islands, ug Occidental Mindoro makasinati og kasarangang ngadto sa kusog nga hangin gikan sa habagatang-kasadpan ug kasarangan ngadto sa balod nga dagat.

As of 8:00 AM today, 06 August 2026, Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" (International Name "KUJIRA") has weakened and downgraded into Tropical Depression, and is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, the Typhoon with international name "DOLPHIN" is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
