A meaningful step toward a healthier and stronger community! The proper distribution of supplements and multivitamins to our identified beneficiaries was successfully conducted as part of the SK CARES Program.

These essential supplies were generously donated by the San Carlos City Council For Youth Affairs and were properly turned over during the SK CARES program to ensure that they reach the children and families who need them most.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to strengthen our commitment to the health, well-being, and future of our young constituents. Every supplement given is more than just a supply—it is a simple reminder that their health and welfare matter.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the San Carlos City Youth Affairs for their generosity, support, and continued partnership in empowering the youth and caring for our community.

To all the young people of Barangay Quezon, we invite you to be part of the 2nd Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly 2026!

Age: 15 - 30 years old ONLY

This assembly is an opportunity for us to come together, discuss the current concerns, challenges, needs, and aspirations of the youth, especially our college students. As your public officials, we want to do more than simply create programs, we want to listen to you, understand your concerns, and work with you toward meaningful solutions. Your experiences, ideas, suggestions, and voices matter in shaping programs and decisions that truly respond to the needs of our young people.

📌 ATTENTION TO ALL 4TH YEAR COLLEGE STUDENTS
All fourth-year college students who are residents of Barangay Quezon are required to attend the assembly. Please bring your University/College ID and secure your registration form on the day of the assembly.

To all young people, especially those who have concerns that need to be heard, this is your space. This is your opportunity to speak, be heard, and be part of the conversation. Let us build a stronger and more responsive youth community by listening to one another and working together.

CLARIFICATION!

Statement of our SK Chairperson Jerico A. Magno on the circulating issue regarding "Bawat Barangay Makinabang Program, Bagong Pilipinas Presidential Scholars"

If there is a way to correct what needs to be corrected, then we will correct it. We are not afraid to acknowledge mistakes and make the necessary changes, especially when it is for the benefit of everyone.

If an action or decision will provide better opportunities, fairness, and greater benefits to the youth of Barangay Quezon, we will take action. We would also like to clarify that the members of the SK Councils WERE NOT INVOLVED in the actual selection process of the scholars. However, upon hearing the concerns raised by our youth, we brought the matter to the attention of the proper authorities and discussed it with the Sangguniang Barangay to seek clarification and appropriate action.

If there is something that needs to be reviewed or corrected, we are willing to take action. If doing so will provide a fairer opportunity and benefit the youth of Barangay Quezon, then we will do what is necessary within the proper process and guidelines. Our goal is not to defend a particular decision, but to stand for transparency, fairness, and the welfare of our young people.

Because supporting education means making sure no young person is left behind, we are happy to announce that our SKWELANIHAN PROGRAM is now EXTENDED FOR 30 COLLEGE STUDENTS!

This is a continuing activity following the successful conduct of our SK CARES SKWELANIHAN PROGRAM, created to provide meaningful educational support to our young constituents.

Barangay Quezon continues to care beyond the celebration!

Following the successful celebration of the 88th Araw ng Barangay Quezon, a community clean-up drive was successfully conducted in compliance with the City Environment Management Office (CEMO) requirements for proper waste disposal and management.

As we secured our fiesta permit, we were reminded that cleanliness must be properly observed not only during the festivities, but especially after them. This clean-up drive reflects our commitment to keeping our barangay clean, orderly, and environmentally responsible.

We are also proud that this year’s celebration utilized non-plastic banderitas, a simple yet meaningful step toward reducing plastic waste and promoting a more environmentally friendly way of celebrating our traditions.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our Sangguniang Barangay Members, led by Hon. Carlito T. Lazaga, with Committee Chair on Environment Hon. Josephine Panase, assisted by SB Member Hon. Elesar Catubig, together with the other members of the Sangguniang Barangay.

We likewise extend our sincere gratitude to our Barangay Workers and the Sport and Cultural Center/Barangay Gymnasium Operating Officers, Mrs. and Mr. Mag-aso, for their cooperation and dedication in helping ensure the cleanliness of our community.
