A cleanup drive was conducted in Barangay 1, successfully carried out with the help of barangay officials, SK officials, personnel staff, BPSO members, the Lupon Tagapamayapa, BHWs, BNS, and volunteers from Purok Gemelina. The activity took place around the basketball court and St. Jude Thaddeus Parish.
This program also aimed to promote cleanliness and maintain a healthy and safe community environment. It encourages everyone to take responsibility in keeping their surroundings clean, practice proper waste disposal, and work together to sustain the beauty and orderliness of the community. Cleanliness is a shared responsibility, and through unity and cooperation, a better and healthier Barangay can be achieved.💚💚💚💚

Barangay One – 1st Semester Barangay Assembly Day CY 2026
The Barangay Assembly Day of Barangay One for the 1st Semester of CY 2026 was a highly successful event, attended by more than 600 constituents. The program started with inspiring opening remarks delivered by Hon. Oscar A. Villavelez.
One of the highlights of the event was the State of the Barangay Address (SOBA), which presented the barangay’s accomplishments for the first semester, including financial reports, plans, and programs. Key areas discussed included solid waste management, drug-clearing initiatives, and ongoing efforts in strengthening a safe, clean, and orderly community. Additional accomplishments were also reported, such as updates on VAWC cases, road clearing operations, and clean-up activities.
The Barangay Agenda for Development (BAGAD) was presented by the Liga ng mga Barangay President and Punong Barangay, Hon. Joselito T. Lopez, with the full support of the barangay councilors. SK Chairperson Hon. April Jay Tingal also presented the SK’s accomplishments for the first semester and delivered a message from the DILG, together with the SK councilors.
The event was further graced by guests from various sectors and government agencies. Representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Nazer Canja and PSSg. Allyn Estrao, were present. From the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), FO1 Francis B. Alido attended, along with CDRRMO Officer I Mr. Ruel S. Reantoco. Representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Ma’am Ma. Lourdes Bracamonte and Carly Vane Tan, also delivered their discussions and presentations.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Hon. Jose Merdonio Sayson Jr.
and the event was hosted by Barangay Secretary Ricky Vhounload Clarin.

In celebration of International Women’s Month, Barangay 1 officials, led by PB Joselito T. Lopez, together with barangay kagawad, SK officials, personnel, staff, BPSO, Lupon, BNS, BHW, and dedicated volunteers, actively participated in the weekly clean-up drive. At Purok Talisay ST. Vincent Subd.

This collective effort reflects the community’s unity, commitment to public service, and shared responsibility in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Truly, the spirit of bayanihan continues to shine through the active participation and cooperation of everyone involved.

Barangay 1, Showcase Firefighting Skills in San Carlos Fire Olympics 2026

Each barangay was represented by its Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO), who competed in various challenges including a hose-throwing relay with targets and obstacles, emergency rescue transfer, and firefighting drills.
