✨Empowering Our Barangays Through CICL Awareness and Advocacy✨

We are grateful for the opportunity to actively participate in the seminar on Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL), attended by representatives from all barangays of San Carlos City.

The seminar was conducted by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), in collaboration with the DILG Officer and resource speakers from the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO). The activity provided valuable knowledge and guidance on the proper handling, protection, rehabilitation, and reintegration of CICL within our communities.

Representing Barangay One, San Carlos City, were Hon. Ma. Theresa V. Dela Torre, Barangay Kagawad and Chairperson of the Committee on Women, Children and Family, and Barangay Secretary Ricky Vhounload Clarin. Both actively participated in the seminar and discussions, demonstrating Barangay One’s continued commitment to programs that promote the rights, welfare, protection, and development of children.

This seminar is an important opportunity to strengthen our knowledge and understanding of our responsibilities in addressing cases involving children in conflict with the law and, most importantly, in helping them find the proper path toward rehabilitation and a better future.

Together, let us continue to learn, collaborate, and support programs that give every child a second chance.
One community, one commitment—protecting our children and building a safer, more compassionate, and child-friendly community. 💙🙏✨
