Good news, San Carlenean Film directors and actors! The Short Film Competition was extended due to the inclement weather brought by the Habagat's intense rains and its threats to provide ample time for our participants in accomplishing their entries.
Submission of entries will still follow the same guidelines.

Attention to all San Carlenean Youth artists and directors, unveil your creativity and talents in film-making with our LNK26 "SHORT FILM COMPETITION" with the theme: "Unspoken Struggles: Rethinking Student Behavior, Mental Health, and Healing.β
The competition aims to give student filmmakers a platform to explore the intersections of the timely mental health issues, behavioral challenges, academic pressure, and school violence. Objectives include promoting empathy, advocating for mental health support systems over punitive measures, and highlighting the importance of early intervention.
Open to all enrolled high school (Junior and Senior High) and undergraduate college students of San Carlos City. Teams may consist of 3 to 8 members from the same institution coming from the different secondary schools and universities / colleges provided that all members of the group are a bonafide residents of San Carlos.
Entries must be submitted via Google Drive link sent to [email protected] on or before August 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
