In line with its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the reintegration of returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through Negosyo Center San Enrique, continues to provide personalized entrepreneurial assistance under the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Balik Pinas! Balik Hanapbuhay! Program.
As part of the program, DTI conducts one-on-one entrepreneurship seminars designed to help OFWs develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to establish and manage sustainable business enterprises. Through individualized business counseling, participants are guided in identifying viable business opportunities that match their experience, interests, and available resources.
To further assist OFWs in accessing livelihood support, DTI Negosyo Center San Enrique provides assistance in the preparation of a business plan, a key documentary requirement for the OWWA Balik Pinas! Balik Hanapbuhay! Program. Business counselors work closely with each applicant to develop a practical and well-structured business plan that includes the business concept, market analysis, operational strategies, marketing plan, financial projections, and sustainability measures. This personalized approach helps ensure that proposed business ventures are feasible, market-driven, and ready for implementation.
This initiative not only supports the successful reintegration of OFWs into their communities but also contributes to local economic development by encouraging the growth of resilient micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
By transforming entrepreneurial aspirations into viable business opportunities, DTI Negosyo Center San Enrique continues to serve as a trusted partner of OFWs in their journey from overseas employment to successful entrepreneurship.
