Empowering Child Development Workers through Digital Skills and Information Systems
The KIDS for ECCD Training Program successfully gathered 18 Child Development Workers (CDWs) – Group 1 from the Municipality of San Enrique for learning and digital capacity-building.
This initiative was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the ISUFST-San Enrique Campus – College of Computer Studies, led by Dr. Wenda D. Panes, together with Instr. Dave Allan A. Tagacay, Instr. Ivan G. Silvestre, and Ms. Andrea Delos Santos, with the support of Mr. Bryan Rey Venus, University Extension Associate. In partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Ms. Regina D. Dativo, RSW, through Ms. Grace M. Gallenero, and the Local Government Unit of San Enrique, participants gained valuable knowledge on cybersecurity, basic computer literacy, and the utilization of the KIDS for ECCD Information System.
This initiative reflects LGU-San Enrique and ISUFST-San Enrique Campus' commitment to empowering frontline Child Development Workers through technology, innovation, and strong community partnerships to enhance Early Childhood Care and Development services.
Our heartfelt gratitude to ISUFST–San Enrique Campus and the DICT, especially to Mr. Rex Vincent C. Degobaton, Information Officer I, Cybersecurity (PNPKI) Unit, and Ms. Cresile L. Lozano, Project Development Officer II and DTC Manager, as well as everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful program.
