In observance of World Day Against Child Labor 2026, the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office I joins the nation in advocating for the protection of children from child labor and all forms of exploitation.

As part of this observance, DOLE Region I will conduct its 2nd Quarter 2026 Information and Service Caravan on Child Labor Prevention and Elimination on June 15, 2026, in Alaminos City, Pangasinan.

Let us work together to ensure that every child enjoys a safe and healthy childhood through access to education, protection, and opportunities for a brighter future.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will be providing at least 200 thousand employment opportunities nationwide through its โ€œTulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workersโ€ (TUPAD) program starting tomorrow, June 1.
In a radio interview, newly appointed DOLE Secretary Francis N. Tolentino announced that the Department will officially deploy TUPAD workers to assist in the implementation of the Department of Education (DepEd) โ€œBrigada Eskwela.โ€
