Aspiring scholars from across the seven provinces of Central Luzon gathered for the first day of the nationwide 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The exam will be taking place at 10 testing centers across Region III, with over 9,000 students vying for a chance to secure the prestigious scholarship.
The DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to academically outstanding incoming college students who wish to pursue degrees in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It aims to ease financial burden while encouraging students to excel in their studies and contribute to the countryโs advancement in science, technology, and innovation.
Benefits include monthly stipend, coverage of tuition and other school fees, thesis allowance, book allowance, transportation allowance, graduation clothing allowance, and group insurance.
