BJMP Region I personnel participated in the Coastal Clean-Up Activity held on September 19, 2026, at the Ilocanos Sur Barangay Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union, in observance of the International Coastal Clean-up Day.

The activity highlighted the importance of community participation, environmental responsibility, and collective efforts in promoting cleaner and safer coastal communities.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region I conducted a two-day Skills Enhancement Training on Bookkeeping and Basic Accounting for personnel in charge of livelihood programs in BJMP jails.

Through continuous learning and skills development, BJMP Region I strengthens its commitment to effective livelihood program implementation and the holistic development of persons deprived of liberty
