MHO PARTICIPATES IN EMERGENCY MEETING WITH BARANGAY CAPTAINS
The Municipal Health Office (MHO), represented by Dr. Gladys Lacuin, OIC-Municipal Health Officer; Mr. Raymond Peter Clemente, PHN II; and Ms. Gina Casilao, Midwife/NIP Coordinator, participated in the Emergency Meeting with Barangay Captains convened by the MLGOO, Maโam Ning Brazil of the DILG, to discuss various pressing concerns and issues affecting the barangays.
Among the matters discussed during the meeting were concerns encountered in the implementation of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA). The MHO took the opportunity to present challenges affecting vaccination efforts, including misinformation and other barangay-level concerns that may contribute to low vaccine coverage.
The MHO likewise sought the support and cooperation of our Barangay Captains in strengthening community engagement, addressing misinformation, and encouraging parents and caregivers to have their eligible children vaccinated.
With the continued support of our barangay leaders, we remain committed to reaching every eligible child 6 to 59 months old and protecting our communities against measles and rubella.
Maraming salamat po sa ating mga Barangay Captains at sa DILG sa patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta sa ating mga programang pangkalusugan. ๐๐
Sama-sama para sa protektadong bata at ligtas na komunidad!
