The San Fernando RHU successfully conducted the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project – Social and Behavior Change (PMNP-SBC) activity entitled:

“Empowering RHU Staff, BHWs and BNS: Training on Strengthening Nutrition Knowledge and Interpersonal Skills for Effective Community Engagement and Training for Health Workers on F1KD/ABCD-WaSH” held on May 26, 2026, at Coolis Beach Resort, San Fernando.

This activity strengthened the knowledge and skills of RHU Staff, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) on nutrition, First 1,000 Days (F1KD), ABCD-WaSH, and effective interpersonal communication to better serve our communities.

Thank you to all participants, facilitators, and resource speakers — Sir Val Estevez and Ma’am Lani Cahilig— for your dedication and commitment to promoting better health, nutrition, and sanitation for every family. Together, we continue building healthier communities! 💪✨

Today marks the successful launching of the 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 spearheaded by the San Fernando RHU! 💙💪

The activity officially started with an energetic motorcade around the community, followed by a short program held at the Buenos Aires Covered Court.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our host barangay, Barangay Buenavista, for the warm welcome and support in making this activity successful.

The event was attended by barangay officials and functionaries from:
