Despite the heavy rains, the spirit of service remained unwavering as NCIP Region 1, together with its dedicated partners, successfully launched ๐๐๐โ๐๐: ๐๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐จ in Brgy. Namaltugan, Sudipen, La Union. Even under the downpour, our Indigenous Cultural Community were warmly served through free dental services, including dental check-ups, beneficiary profiling, and Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) for children. The activity also provided free oral hygiene kits, oral health lectures, clothing donations, and other meaningful giveaways to our beneficiaries. More than providing services for a single day, Ngiting Katutubo aims to build a continuing partnership that responds to the long-term oral health needs of Indigenous communities.

Our deepest gratitude goes to all the dentists who took the time to participate and serve our ICCs despite the challenging weather conditions.
Your expertise, compassion, and willingness to serve made the dental component of Ngiting Katutubo possible. Thank you for sharing not only your skills, but also your time and heart with our community. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dentists who generously committed to provide FREE dental treatment to beneficiaries who require continuing care following the activity. Your generosity ensures that the care we began during this activity can continue beyond this day, giving our beneficiaries not only brighter smiles, but the assurance that they are not forgotten.
To every dentist, partner, volunteer, community leader, and individual who stood with us despite the rain, maraming salamat for choosing to serve.
Your presence reminded us that meaningful service is not measured by the weather, but by the willingness to show up for those who need it most. Because true service does not stop when the rain beginsโit shines even brighter through the storm.
