Gaya ng ating kababayang OFW na si Charina G. Gaon, marami na ang nakatuklas sa kahalagahan at kadalian ng pagpaparehistro sa National ID. Ayon sa kanya, bukod sa napakahalaga ng National ID sa Pilipinas, mabilis lamang makamit ang serbisyo, kaya naman buong-puso niya itong inirerekomenda sa lahat.

Kapag ikaw ay rehistrado na, hindi mo na kailangang mag-antay ng physical card para magamit ito. Maaari mo nang i-access ang iyong *Digital National ID via eGovPH App gamit ang smartphone, o kumuha ng National ID in Paper Form sa mga registration centers para sa mas pinadaling mga transaksyon.

TANDAAN:Ang Digital National ID at Paper Form ay hindi alternatibong ID lamang—ang mga ito ay may parehong validity at functionality gaya ng physical card. Opisyal at legal itong tatanggapin sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong transaksyon.

Nakiisa ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - La Union Provincial Statistical Office, sa pamamagitan ni Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Coordinator Julius Caesar Abenoja, sa isinagawang malawakang information dissemination at house-to-house registration ng Local Government Unit (LGU) ng San Juan, La Union noong ika-29 ng Mayo 2026.

Ang aktibidad ay isinagawa sa pamumuno ng Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) ng San Juan, La Union sa pangunguna ni Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) Florianne P. Torres.

Isinagawa ang information dissemination ukol sa BRAP upang mas mapalawak ang kaalaman ng komunidad tungkol sa kahalagahan ng civil registration.

Nagkaroon din ng house-to-house BRAP registration na naglalayong alamin kung sino sa mga residente ang wala pang birth record upang sila ay magabayan sa ilalim ng programa. Bahagi rin ng operasyong ito ang personal na pagbisita sa mga residenteng may Omnibus Certification (kumpirmadong walang birth record) upang masuri ang mga hawak na nilang dokumento at mga requirements na kakailanganin sa pagpoproseso.

Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, direktang pinupuntahan ang mga mamamayan sa komunidad upang matiyak na ang bawat residenteng wala pang rehistro ay matulungang magkaroon ng legal na pagkakakilanlan, nang sa gayon ay buo nilang matanggap ang mga pangunahing serbisyo at programa ng pamahalaan.

Patuloy ang pakikipag-ugnayan ng PSA-La Union sa mga lokal na pamahalaan ng La Union upang masiguro ang 100% birth registration at walang maiiwang undocumented na mamamayan sa buong lalawigan.

Narito ang pinakabagong ulat ng PSA-La Union hinggil sa bilang ng mga nakapagparehistro para sa National ID sa iba't ibang lungsod at bayan ng lalawigan ng La Union.

Ang bilang na ito ay naitala simula noong unang quarter ng 2021, na siyang simula ng National ID registration sa La Union, hanggang 30 Abril 2026.

Ang Philippine Statistics Authority – La Union Provincial Statistical Office ay saludo sa lahat ng mga nagparehistro sa kanilang pakikiisa sa pagtatag ng pinasimple at digital na sistema ng pagkakakilanlan para sa lahat ng Pilipino.

Ang pagpaparehistro sa National ID ay sumasaklaw sa pag-beripika ng inyong demographic data at pagkuha ng biometric information, kasama na ang inyong fingerprints, iris scans, at front-facing photo.

Patuloy ang implementasyon ng National ID sa ating probinsiya ng La Union at libu-libo na sa ating mga kababayan ang matagumpay na nakatanggap ng kanilang National ID in Paper Form.

Ang National ID in paper format ay maaaring makuha mula sa National ID registration centers nang libre (free of charge). Katulad ng National ID card at Digital National ID, ito ay mayroong QR code na magagamit para sa authentication.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11055, ito ay valid at tinatanggap sa lahat ng mga transaksyon, gaya ng National ID in PVC card at Digital National ID.

Nagsisilbi itong ligtas at matibay na patunay ng pagkakakilanlan para sa mga pangangailangan sa gobyerno at pribadong sektor, kung saan ang mga institusyon ay maaaring i-verify ang pagiging authentic nito gamit ang QR code.

Paalala sa mga nakatanggap na:

✅ Siguraduhing malinaw ang inyong QR Code—ito ang susi para sa beripikasyon ng inyong ID.

✅ Maaari itong i-laminate para mas tumagal at hindi agad masira.

𝐏𝐒𝐀-𝐋𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲

The RCSS is conducted monthly by the PSA to assess current rice and corn stock levels as of 6:00 AM on the first day of every month. The assessed stock levels are crucial for monitoring national rice and corn inventories, as they are systematically compared against figures from the previous month and the corresponding period of the previous year.

The data collected for RCSS contributes to the Value of Production in Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries and to the preparation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Additionally, it supports the data needs of planners, policy and decision makers, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector, including the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), Department of Agriculture (DA) and its attached agencies such as Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF), and the general public.

For the June 2026 round of RCSS, the PSA – La Union Provincial Statistical Office hired seven Statistical Researchers (SRs) who will engage with 70 sample commercial establishments and 240 sample households (comprising 120 from palay – farming, 45 from corn – farming, and 75 from non-farming households) across different barangays in the province.

PSA assures the public that all data collected in these surveys are solely for statistical purposes and will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10625.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – La Union Provincial Statistical Office conducts the June 2026 Monthly Palay and Corn Situation Reporting System (MPCSRS) from 01 to 05 June 2026.

The MPCSRS is conducted monthly in all provinces during February, March, May, June, August, September, and November, covering sample palay and corn farming households from the PPS and CPS barangays.

For the June 2026 round, the PSA – La Union Provincial Statistical Office hired seven Statistical Researchers (SRs) to conduct personal interviews with 78 sample palay-farming, 101 sample corn-farming households, and one sample establishment across 11 barangays in the province.

The general public, especially the sample households, are encouraged to continuously support and participate in this nationwide undertaking by providing complete, truthful, and accurate information.

The PSA assures the public that all data collected in these surveys are solely for statistical purposes and will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with Republic Act No. 10625.

Kung nais mo naman ng printed copy, maaari ka ring kumuha ng National ID in paper format sa mga registration centers.

The Philippine Statistics Authority – La Union Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-LUPSO) conducted the Provincial Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board (PCCB) convening for the Province of La Union on 21 May 2026 at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union, which served as a venue to strengthen coordination among local stakeholders and discuss preparations for the implementation of the 2027 CBMS.

The convening gathered members of the Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board and representatives from various offices of the provincial government and national agencies. Discussions focused on the importance of CBMS in generating reliable and localized data that can support planning, policy formulation, and evidence-based governance at the provincial level.

During the meeting, the PSA-LUPSO team presented an overview of the CBMS, including its objectives, legal basis, and the roles and responsibilities of the Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board members. The discussion also covered the 2027 CBMS Resource Allocation Tool, which will guide LGUs in estimating the budget and resources needed for the implementation of the census-based monitoring system. Furthermore, the body was informed of the planned capacity-strengthening activities for local government units for the remaining part of the year, which include technical assistance, training, and other support mechanisms aimed at improving the readiness of the local sub-offices for the rollout.

Other PSA programs and initiatives were also discussed during the activity. These included updates on Map Research, the Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System (SSRCS), and the 2026 Updating of the List of Aquaculture Farms (ULAF). These presentations highlighted the continuing efforts of the PSA to improve data systems and strengthen coordination with the provincial government.
