The K to 12 Program Management Unit (PMU) is the arm of the Commission on Higher Education responsible in addressing the adverse impact of the full implementation of Senior High School (SHS) on Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and their personnel beginning June 2016. Due to the imminent displacement and reduction of teaching loads among teaching/non-teaching personnel, the Commission find it a

s an opportunity to upgrade the qualifications, improve instruction, boost research productivity and strengthen extension initiatives among HEIs. The PMU is responsible in facilitating the timely and efficient delivery of services, the availability of up-to-date information on relevant policies and guidelines, and the readiness of support to various stakeholders, both at the Central and Regional Offices.
