Hindi lahat ng lupa ay pare-pareho may kanya-kanyang pangangailangan na kailangang malaman at tugunan. Sa pamamagitan ng Scale-Up Program ng Department of Agriculture, natutulungan ang ating mga magsasaka na matukoy kung ano ang kinakailangang nutrients ng kanilang lupa upang mas maging wasto at mas epektibo ang paggamit ng mga inputs.

Sa kwento ni Rizaldo Laglario ng Cabaruan, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, nakita mismo ang pagbabago sa kanyang palayan matapos gamitin ang mga angkop na nutrients.

Mula sa simpleng kaalaman sa mushroom production, nagbukas ang isang bagong oportunidad para sa dagdag na kita at mas magandang kabuhayan ng ating mga magsasaka. Sa pamamagitan ng i-RICE Project ng Department of Agriculture, hindi lamang training at kagamitan ang naibibigay—kundi kaalaman, kakayahan, at pag-asa para sa mas magandang kinabukasan.

While many community members have given up farming, he chose to stay, learn, and deepen his relationship with the land.

Today, the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) Scale Up continues to engage with coffee farmers like him, providing support in terms of facilities and logistics. 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 | The Department of Agriculture Ilocos Region is in need of a Project Assistant I.

𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦, 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗦, 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗝𝗢𝗕:

1. Conduct regular price (farmgate and retail) and supply monitoring of agri-fishery commodities from various farms/farmers, public and private markets, stores, supermarkets, trading posts, and other establishments in Candon City, Ilocos Sur
2. Encode and consolidate price and supply data in the google sheet, Bantay Presyo Monitoring System (BPMS)
3. Assist in the validation of consumer complaints in relation to Agri-Fishery prices in the markets
4. Coordinate with the Local Government Units in gathering price and supply data
5. Assist in the conduct of various activities related to Price Act Implementation
6. Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time

Interested and qualified applicants who meet the required minimum qualifications regardless of gender, disability, civil status, ethnicity, religion, etc. may submit the following documentary requirements to DA-RFO1 Records Unit/Human Resource Management Section not later than 5:00PM of September 7, 2026:

3. Updated and properly accomplished 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 (𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝟮𝟭𝟮 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) which can also be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph. (if applicable);
4. Photocopy of the following:
