Another meaningful highlight from the RDRRMC3 Regional DRRM Recognition Ceremony held last December 5 was the presentation of the Special Awards, together with the recognition of the RDRRMC3 Vice Chairpersons and the Regional Selection and Validation Committee.

A total of 15 organizations were honored under the Special Awards Category for their exemplary DRRM initiatives, innovative practices, and steadfast commitment to building resilient communities.
We likewise extend our sincere appreciation to our Vice Chairpersons and the members of the RSV Committee for their leadership, dedication, and vital role in ensuring a fair, thorough, and credible assessment process.

Together for a Resilient : RDRRMC3 Regional DRRM Recognition Ceremony 2025

The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council 3 (RDRRMC3), through OCD III, proudly recognized the outstanding achievements of Central Luzon’s Local DRRM Councils and Offices (LDRRMCOs), Schools, HEI, Hospitals, LGU Responders, Volunteer Groups, partner agencies, RDRRMC3 Vice Chairpersons, and other stakeholders for their exemplary commitment to Disaster Resilience-Building.

Held on 05 December 2025 at the Laus Event Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, the ceremony was graced by Undersecretary Harold N. Cabreros, Administrator of the Office of Civil Defense and Executive Director of the NDRRMC, as Guest of Honor and Speaker. Local Chief Executives, Heads of Regional Line Agencies, and Partner Institutions were also acknowledged for their unwavering support in advancing Central Luzon’s Disaster Resilience.

A total of 117 out of 137 LGUs in Central Luzon were recognized for successfully passing the assessment process and meeting the criteria. Additionally, 15 institutions and organizations were awarded under the Special Awards categories for their exceptional contributions to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.

RDRRMC3 Chairperson and OCD III Regional Director Amador V. Corpus, highlighted the dedication and collaborative efforts of all awardees, emphasizing that building resilient communities is a shared responsibility. The ceremony also recognized the Regional Selection and Validation Committees for ensuring the integrity and credibility of the assessment process.

Through this event, RDRRMC3 continues to promote excellence in DRRM, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and inspire communities across Central Luzon to remain prepared, adaptive, and resilient.
