PRO3 personnel, including plus-size personnel, participated in a PULISTENIKS session held on June 2, 2026, at the Makatao Activity Center, Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Led by PCOL Robert L. Petate, Chief, RETD PRO3, the activity promotes physical fitness, wellness, and healthy living among personnel, encouraging everyone to adopt habits that contribute to a healthier and more productive lifestyle.

The activity forms part of PRO3's continuing efforts to foster a culture of wellness and ensure that personnel remain physically fit and ready to serve.

WATCH: The Philippine National Police (PNP), in close coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd), continues to strengthen its partnership under Oplan Balik-Eskwela for School Year 2026–2027 to ensure a safe, secure, and orderly return to classes nationwide.

As part of the initiative, police units have been deployed in strategic areas to provide security assistance, regulate traffic flow, and promptly respond to any untoward incidents. Help desks and police assistance desks have also been established to address concerns from learners, parents, and school personnel.

The strengthened coordination between the PNP and DepEd aims to safeguard learners, teachers, and the entire school community while promoting peace and order in and around educational institutions across the country as the new school year begins.

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.

MORE BARANGAYS, STRONGER COMMUNITIES, DRUG-FREE CENTRAL LUZON

PRO3, through the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD), participated in the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program (ROCBDCP) Deliberation held on June 2, 2026, at the DILG Regional Office 3 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Representing Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez, PCOL Ferdinand D. Germino, Chief of RCADD 3, joined representatives from PDEA, DILG, DOH, local government units, and other stakeholders in assessing and validating the status of barangays under the Barangay Drug Clearing Program.

The deliberation yielded positive results, with 187 barangays maintaining their Drug-Cleared status, 15 barangays sustaining their Drug-Free status, and 10 barangays successfully attaining Drug-Cleared status. These achievements highlight how safer communities are built through stronger partnerships among law enforcement agencies, local government units, and community stakeholders.

Today, a total of 212 barangays stand as proof that sustained collaboration and collective action can make a lasting difference in the fight against illegal drugs.

These milestones reflect the shared commitment of government agencies, community leaders, and residents in creating safer, healthier, and more secure communities across Central Luzon.

Together, we move closer to a drug-free future—one barangay at a time.

TWO HIGH-VALUE DRUG SUSPECTS FALL IN PRO3 OPS; P2.7-M SHABU SEIZED IN PAMPANGA, NUEVA ECIJA

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) scored another significant victory in its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign following the arrest of two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and the confiscation of more than 410 grams of suspected shabu worth approximately ₱2.79 million in separate buy-bust operations in Pampanga and Nueva Ecija.

In the latest operation, operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3) and Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), with support from the San Fernando City Police Station and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, arrested a 45-year-old man, listed as High-Value Individual, during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on June 1, 2026.

Confiscated from the suspect were around 350 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of ₱2.38 million, along with buy-bust money, a cellular phone, and other non-drug evidence.

Meanwhile, in Nueva Ecija, operatives of the Talavera Municipal Police Station arrested another High-Value Individual during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Miguel na Munti, Talavera on May 31, 2026.

The operation resulted in the seizure of about 60 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱408,000 and the arrest of a 30-year-old delivery rider from Pasig City.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operations and reiterated the organization’s firm resolve against illegal drugs.

"The arrest of these High-Value Individuals and the substantial volume of illegal drugs removed from circulation reflect the effectiveness of our intelligence-driven operations and the dedication of our personnel on the ground. We will continue to pursue drug personalities relentlessly and strengthen our efforts to protect our communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs," PBGEN Mendez said.

He added that PRO3 remains steadfast in supporting the anti-illegal drug campaign of the Philippine National Police through proactive, people-centered, and professional policing anchored on the PNP Focused Agenda.

The twin operations underscore PRO3’s sustained commitment to keeping Central Luzon safe through aggressive law enforcement efforts and the delivery of “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.”

RD MENDEZ CONDUCTS COMMAND VISIT TO ZAMBALES PPO

PBGEN Jess B Mendez, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3, visited the Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) on June 1, 2026, at Camp Capt. Conrado D. Yap in Iba, Zambales.

During the visit, PBGEN Mendez met with police personnel and expressed his appreciation for their dedication and hard work in maintaining peace and order in the province. He encouraged them to remain committed to their duties, uphold discipline and professionalism, and continue building strong partnerships with the communities they serve.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the Regional Director to personally engage with the personnel, listen to their concerns, and discuss ways to further strengthen police operations and public service delivery.

REGIONAL, PROVINCIAL, AND MUNICIPAL MOST WANTED PERSONS ARRESTED IN SEPARATE PRO3 OPERATIONS

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) recorded another major accomplishment in its intensified campaign against wanted persons following the arrest of several high-ranking fugitives in separate operations conducted on June 1, 2026, by operatives of Aurora, Bulacan, Zambales and Nueva Ecija police provincial offices.

In Pulilan, Bulacan, operatives of the Pulilan Municipal Police Station Tracker Team, in coordination with PIT Bulacan West-RIU3, arrested a Top 5 Regional Most Wanted Person facing a murder charge. The suspect was apprehended in Barangay Taal, Pulilan through the implementation of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Malolos City, Bulacan.

In another operation, a joint manhunt team led by the San Narciso Municipal Police Station Tracker Team, with support from Sta. Maria MPS, 2nd PMFC, ZPPO, and RMFB3, arrested a Top 6 Regional Most Wanted Person in Barangay Catmon, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. The accused was wanted for murder and was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in Iba, Zambales, with no bail recommended.

Further strengthening PRO3's anti-criminality campaign, personnel of Balagtas Municipal Police Station, together with PIT Bulacan West-RIU3 and the 301st Maneuver Company of RMFB3, arrested a Top 9 Regional Most Wanted Person, and Top 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person in Barangay Longos, Balagtas, Bulacan. The accused was wanted for Statutory R**e and was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in Malolos City, Bulacan, with no bail recommended.

Meanwhile, in Jaen, Nueva Ecija, operatives of Jaen MPS and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company arrested a Top 2 Regional Most Wanted Person, Top 1 Provincial Most Wanted Person, and Top 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person wanted for two counts of Qualified R**e and Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610. The accused was apprehended in Barangay Niyugan, Jaen, through the implementation of warrants of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.

In Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija, police also arrested a Top 5 Provincial Most Wanted Person and Top 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person wanted for sexual assault in relation to Republic Act 7610. The accused was captured in Barangay San Josef through the implementation of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Gapan City.

In a separate operation, personnel of the Science City of Muñoz Police Station tracked down and arrested a Top 1 City Most Wanted Person and Top 7 Provincial Most Wanted Person in Barangay Tulay Sais Daang Hari, Navotas City. The accused was wanted for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and was apprehended through the implementation of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.

Meanwhile, a joint team composed of personnel from Dinalungan MPS, the 2nd PMFC and PIU of Aurora PPO, and Silang MPS of Cavite PPO arrested the Rank 7 Regional Most Wanted Person in Barangay Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite. The accused was wanted for murder and was apprehended through an intelligence-driven manhunt operation based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in Casiguran, Aurora, with no bail recommended.

All arrested individuals are now under police custody pending the appropriate judicial proceedings.

PRO3 Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez lauded the operating units for their relentless efforts in tracking down wanted persons and ensuring that they face the courts.

"The arrest of these high-ranking wanted persons reflects the dedication of our personnel and the effectiveness of our intelligence-driven manhunt operations. We will continue to pursue individuals who seek to evade the law and ensure that justice is served. These accomplishments send a clear message that there is no refuge for fugitives in Central Luzon and beyond," PBGEN Mendez said.

The successful operations underscore PRO3's continuing commitment to the PNP Focused Agenda and its intensified efforts to maintain peace and order through sustained law enforcement, intelligence gathering, and warrant-serving operations across the region.
