🏆 Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the First Aid Olympics 2026! 🏅

Organized by the DRRMH of JBLMGH, this groundbreaking event marks the very first First Aid Olympics for the institution. Designed to test high-intensity simulation protocols, it challenged participants to transform clinical knowledge into instinctive action under extreme pressure. From rapid BLS scenarios to trauma management, our competitors proved that they can replace hesitation with fluid, automatic precision.

A massive round of applause to the trailblazing teams of this inaugural competition:
🥇 Grand Champion: Red Warriors
🥈 First Runner-Up: Blue Thunders
🥉 Second Runner-Up: Green Lifesavers

Salute to all our organizers, evaluators, team coaches and participants for setting an incredible standard for this first-ever event and showcasing an unwavering dedication to saving lives! ❤️💙💚

❤️⚡ Empowering the next generation of lifesavers!

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month, the 2026 National CPR Day, and the 10th anniversary of the Samboy Lim Law (RA 10871), the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRMH) of Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital stepped up to equip our youth with life-saving skills!

JBLMGH successfully conducted a mass CPR session for the Grade 9 and 10 students of Don Bosco Academy (Bacolor).

🎒 Why This Matters
Aligned with this year's themes, “Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas” and “Estudyante’t Titser, Sa Barangay, Ating mga Lifesaver,” this initiative proves that disaster preparedness extends far beyond the classroom. By empowering our youth and educators:

- We turn schools into hubs of health resilience.
- We prepare the youth to be vital first responders in their local communities.
- We take collective action toward a safer, more adaptive grassroots response.

A huge salute to the Bosconians and the dedicated team of Jose B. Lingad! You are today's learners, tomorrow's lifesavers. 👏

Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital is proud to have participated as a key healthcare partner in PROJECT MedX: Central Luzon Emergency Medical Simulation Exercise (SimEx). We are incredibly proud of our medical staff's dedication and professionalism throughout the exercise!

Heartfelt thanks to A-PAD PH, CDRRMO CSFP, and the University of the Assumption for hosting this crucial event during National Disaster Resilience Month.

Every simulation we conquer together ensures we are better prepared to protect our community when it matters most.

The two-day exercise culminated in a full-scale earthquake simulation in UA grounds, where participants responded to a scenario involving a magnitude 6.8 earthquake. The simulated disaster triggered a mass casualty incident testing emergency medical response, patient transport, hospital surge capaci...

Learn the two simple steps of Hands-Only CPR and be the lifesaver we need.

You don't need to be a medical professional to perform CPR. If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of “Man I Need.”

In coordination the Central Luzon Center for Health Development and together with Mariveles Mental and Wellness General Hospital and Paulino J Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center, a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) session was held for the BFP personnel who responded to the complex structural collapse incident in Angeles City. After days of tireless, high-stress search and retrieval operations, providing psychological first aid and trauma processing is essential for our responders' long-term well-being.

Salute to the BFP for your bravery—and for committing to the vital work of mental health recovery.
