KGG Kabataan for Good Governance

KGG Kabataan for Good Governance Making the Difference Brief History of the Organization

A group of youth individuals are gathered in the campaign period of Mayor Oscar S.

Rodriguez of City of San Fernando, Pampanga in 2004. Inspired by their outstanding community leaders, emphasizing the status of our youth today and the historic EDSA Revolution, this group of youth individuals decided to form a youth organization called Kayanakan for Good Governance. With their motivation of nurturing the youth of the present and future with knowledge about values, opportunities,

freedom, and how to become a good leader in their own way, the organization became feasible. Being stable at the count of 300 members and is still open for those who wants to join. Youth organizations from other towns also started joining the organizations like Sasmuan, Mexico, and Angeles. From that point, we decided to categorize the youth by their town. Stabilizing the youth of San Fernando (Kayanakang Fernandino Club – KFC), we are planning to do the same for the other towns that are willing to join our goals. The KGG has already engaged in several voluntary activities like community service/cleaning, tree planting, rescue missions, etc. With the help of the City Government some of the projects of KGG became achievable like the Mural Painting on Pampanga High school, The KFC Park in San Fernando River, etc. Thanking those who inspired us because without them, there is no Kayanakan for Good Governance today.
