Para sa maraming negosyante, ang sagot ay nagsisimula sa Negosyo Center.

On August 4, 2026, DTI Zambales conducted price and supply monitoring of basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPCs) across Olongapo City and Iba, Zambales, following heavy rains brought by Habagat and Tropical Storm Maymay. The initiative aimed to maintain fair market prices, protect consumer welfare, and verify the stable availability of essential items in retail establishments during severe weather conditions.

To expand its reach, the DTI Zambales Consumer Protection Division collaborated with local market administrators and Local Price Coordinating Councils (LPCCs) to evaluate public market operations. The agency also maintained continuous coordination with Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils to track weather-related incidents and ensure prompt issuance of public warning advisories.

On August 3, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Olongapo City Local Government Unit to provide skills training, livelihood programs, and product development support to local MSMEs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Olongapo District Jail.

This partnership strengthens inter-agency collaboration to promote sustainable economic opportunities, skill-building, and rehabilitation efforts across the community. By combining resources, the initiative aims to boost local business growth while offering meaningful rehabilitation paths and renewed hope for PDLs preparing for reintegration into society.
