4th CONSECUTIVE WEEK @ ZERO. All Regional Offices (ROs) and the Central Office continue to sustain the Zero Overdue Regulatory Applications for four consecutive weeks now --a clear testament of the Department's commitment to deliver efficient service to its stakeholders.

Since June 22, all Regional Directors, OIC-RDs and the Central Office-based Housing and Real Estate Development and Regulation Bureau were directed by Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling to submit weekly report and certify that they have no overdue applications for certificate of registration and license to sell (CR-LS).

The move stemmed from the discovery of pending applications in the regional level following an internal audit aimed at accounting and establishing the status of all regulatory applications being processed by the ROs. The effort forms part of the Zero Backlog Program under the DHSUD's 8-Point Agenda.

Secretary Aliling prodded the RDs and OICs to sustain the positive momentum to ensure that there are no regulatory backlogs and that the applications for CR-LS by private developers are acted upon in transparent and timely manner.
