RMFB3 OFFERS “LIBRENG SAKAY” TO STRANDED KAPAMPANGANS AMID FLOODS

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3) extended immediate assistance to stranded commuters through a “Libreng Sakay” initiative amid severe flooding affecting several areas of Pampanga on August 28, 2026.

RMFB3 personnel provided free transportation to affected commuters along the San Matias, City of San Fernando–Mexico, Pampanga route, helping residents safely reach their destinations as major roads were submerged in floodwaters.

The initiative was undertaken under the leadership of PLTCOL EDILMAR G ALVIAR, OIC, RMFB3, highlighting the battalion’s commitment to responsive policing and public service, especially during emergencies.

RMFB3 remains ready to serve, assist, and protect the Kapampangans in times of need.

RMFB3 ARREST 8 WANTED PERSONS, RECOVERS 6 LOOSE FI****MS

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3) recorded significant law enforcement accomplishments from August 24 to 27, 2026, with the apprehension of eight wanted persons and the recovery of six (6) loose fi****ms.

Of the eight wanted persons apprehended, one (1) was identified as a Most Wanted Person, while seven (7) were classified as Other Wanted Persons.

“Our operations are not measured only by numbers. Every wanted person apprehended and every loose fi***rm recovered means one less threat that can endanger our communities,” PLTCOL EDILMAR G ALVIAR, OIC RMFB said.

RMFB3 remains committed to supporting the PNP’s mandate of providing swift, fair, and people-centered police service, in line with the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.

RMFB3 BOLSTERS RESCUE READINESS AMID TYPHOON “OBET,” CONTINUING FLOODS

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3) intensified its disaster response preparedness amid the entry of Typhoon “Obet” and weeks of persistent monsoon rains, conducting a comprehensive inspection of its Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment and operational assets on August 24, 2026.

The inspection was led by PCOL FERDINAND D GERMINO, C, RCADD as part of the Police Regional Office 3’s continuing efforts to ensure the readiness and responsiveness of its units amid the prevailing weather conditions across Central Luzon.

Under the leadership of PLTCOL EDILMAR G ALVIAR, OIC, RMFB3, personnel showcased and assessed the battalion’s SAR equipment, water-rescue assets, and other logistical resources essential for flood response, evacuation assistance, rescue operations, and other emergency situations.

The inspection was conducted as several areas in Pampanga continued to experience flooding brought about by persistent rains. Even the PRO3 Headquarters in Camp Olivas was affected, with floodwaters reaching below knee level in portions of the camp.

Despite the challenging conditions, RMFB3 personnel remain on heightened readiness to respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance to communities affected by flooding and other weather-related incidents.

RMFB3 TAKES PCR TO THE AIRWAVES

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3), under the leadership of PLTCOL EDILMAR G ALVIAR, through its PCR personnel led by PLT HEIDE D OLAO, OIC, CAS, participated in a radio guesting over RW 95.1 FM “Keni na Ka” on August 20, 2026.

The discussion highlighted Police-Community Relations (PCR) as the heart of Philippine policing and its vital role in maintaining peace and order.

Also discussed was the JBM Patrol System (Joint Police and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team), initiated by PBGEN JESS B MENDEZ, RD, PRO3, which strengthens police-barangay cooperation toward crime prevention and detection in Central Luzon.

Through such engagements, RMFB3 continues to bring police service closer to the community.
