Day 2 of the Adhika 2026 Conference concluded with a group photo of our participants from the 16 barangays of San Francisco, Quezonโ€”our Barangay Chairpersons, GAD Committee Chairs, and community leaders united by a shared commitment to inclusive governance.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in honest and meaningful conversations about the realities they face in their communities. They exchanged experiences, confronted challenges, and explored practical ways to make governance more responsive, equitable, and inclusive.

Great leaders donโ€™t avoid difficult conversationsโ€”they lead them. Because the issues that matter deserve leaders who are willing to listen, learn, and act.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our distinguished guests: Ms. Ana Sheila N. Dalida, ABC President Hon. Honorato Litas, San Francisco MLGOO Mr. Adrian Plasuelo, SB Committee on Human Rights Chair Hon. Rara Aguila, together with the SanFo Pride Officers and the Municipal Gender and Development (MGAD) Office of San Francisco, for making this conference meaningful and impactful.

Day 2 of Adhika 2026 begins with a purpose. ๐ŸŒˆ

SanFo Pride President Ms. Chantelle Palma formally welcomed participants from the 16 barangays of San Francisco, Quezon to the Adhika 2026 Conference on Inclusive Governance and Community Development.

Today brings together our barangay officials to explore how inclusive leadership, equitable governance, and stronger community partnerships can create safer, more compassionate, and more empowered communities for everyone.

Together, we continue building a San Francisco where inclusive governance leads to inclusive progress.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all the school heads and educators of San Francisco, Quezon who took the time to listen, engage, and courageously share their stories and experiences. Your openness and commitment remind us that meaningful change begins with conversations rooted in empathy and respect.

Habang unti-unti nating ibinababa ang mga rainbow flags, habang humuhupa ang sakit ng katawan mula sa Rainbow Games, habang tinatanggal na natin ang ADHIKA profile photos, at habang dahan-dahang kumukupas ang makulay na hangover ng Daloy ng Bahaghariโ€ฆ sana hindi kumupas ang apoy sa ating mga puso. ๐ŸŒˆ

Hindi lang ito pagtatapos ng isang buwan ng selebrasyon. Ito ay pag-uwi sa mas malalim na dahilan kung bakit tayo nagsimula.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Pride Month ay dahil mayroon tayong mga kwento na matagal nang gustong marinig. May mga pusong matagal nang gustong tanggapin. May mga taong matagal nang ipinaglalaban ang karapatang mabuhay nang may dignidad, may respeto, at may pagmamahal.

Bakit natin isinusulong ang isang Makulay na San Francisco? Dahil naniniwala tayo na mas nagiging matatag ang isang komunidad kapag may puwang para sa lahat โ€” anuman ang pagkatao, identity, o pinanggalingang kwento. Ang tunay na inklusibong San Francisco ay hindi lang para sa iilan; ito ay para sa bawat isa sa atin.

Ngayon araw na aalisin natin ang mga profile picture, ibababa ang mga bandila, at tatahimik ang mga tugtugin ng Pride Month. Sana, hindi dito matatapos ang ating paninindigan.

Dahil ang Pride ay hindi lang nasa isang buwan. Nasa araw-araw itong pagpili na magmahal nang walang takot, tumanggap nang walang paghusga, at tumindig para sa kapwa.

Kaya habang isinasara natin ang Pride Month, dalhin natin ang diwa nito sa bawat araw na darating. Patuloy tayong maging boses ng pag-asa. Patuloy tayong maging kakampi ng pagkakapantay-pantay. Patuloy tayong magtayo ng komunidad na may puwang para sa lahat.

Tapos na ang selebrasyon, pero hindi tapos ang laban. Ang advocacy ay nagpapatuloy, PATULOY ANG ADHIKA: sa ating mga salita, sa ating mga gawa, at sa ating mga puso.

Sama-sama nating panatilihing MATINGKAD ang KULAY NG BAHAGHARI AT PATULOY NA MAGING LAKAS NG PAGKAKAISA ANG PAGKAKAIBA-IBA.

Maraming salamat. Mahal naman ang lahat!
