The Parade, Kick-off Program of Brigada Eskwela, and Groundbreaking Ceremony for the School Canteen at Ladgadan Elementary School were attended by representatives from various government agencies, offices, and the Local Government Unit, led by Honorable Mayor Atty. Grace Carmel Paredes. Demonstrating its commitment to community service and support for education, the personnel of the San Francisco Fire Station actively participated in the event as partners of the Department of Education (DepEd) in initiatives that promote and strengthen educational development.

Stay focused while cooking. Distractions from phones, television, children, or pets can cause you to leave food unattended, miss signs of overheating, or accidentally knock over hot pots and pans.

• Unattended cooking is a leading cause of kitchen fires.
• Hot oil and cookware can quickly become dangerous if not monitored.

✅ Put your phone away or limit its use while cooking.
✅ Avoid watching TV or engaging in activities that take your attention from the kitchen.

✅ Create a child-free and pet-free zone at least 1 meter (3 feet) around the stove.
✅ Use timers to remind you when food is cooking.
✅ If you must leave the kitchen, turn off the stove or ask another adult to watch it.
