UPDATE || Today June 30, 2023, the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) had its 2nd Quarter Meeting held at the Municipal Session Hall presided by the Vice President of LYDC – SKMF Ralph David M. De Guzman.
This meeting aimed to orient the LYDC members on the process of registering organizations to YORP.
LYDO Designate presented the Youth Organization Registration (YORP) Program of National Youth Commission, the steps in registering organizations at the YORP website as well as the benefits of being a registered organization to YORP. Moreover, she also gave a virtual tour of the YORP Hub for the registered organizations in order to familiarize them with the system.
Also, Mr. Kelvin John Bentayen, President of Lon-oy Youth Free Mathsketeers Organization shared their programs and activities conducted in their barangay. The presentation was such an inspiration to all the LYDC members to continue making initiatives to empower the youth in their respective jurisdiction and to the whole municipality.
The meeting concluded with a message of encouragement from the temporary presiding officer to the LYDC Members and sought their active involvement in all the initiatives, programs, and activities implemented by the municipal government and private institutions with the goal of helping them reach their full potential as future leaders of the nation.
