Magandang araw po sa inyong lahat!
Today, we proudly close a colorful and exciting chapter here in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, as we announce the official results of Project Lollivote—an innovative and sweet twist on democracy where buying a lollipop gave you the power to vote through a special voucher.
This initiative was not only fun—it empowered many, especially the youth, to understand the value of their voice. To everyone who joined, voted, and supported: maraming salamat po!
🗳️ MAYORAL RACE
It was a dramatic and close contest between two strong figures:
Fernando Gazo Galvez – 85 votes
Rocky Galvez Sarmiento – 119 votes (Winner)
At the midpoint of the vote count, Fernando Gazo Galvez held a strong and promising lead, gaining early confidence from his supporters. The atmosphere was tense but hopeful, as Gazo looked poised to secure the mayoral seat. But in a dramatic shift, Rocky Galvez Sarmiento surged forward in the later votes, staging an unexpected comeback that stunned the crowd and ultimately claimed him the victory.
🗳️ VICE MAYORAL RACE
Early results favored Carla Galvez with 38 votes, but momentum shifted:
In the early stages of the vice mayoral count, Carla Galvez took a confident lead with 38 votes, setting the pace and energizing her supporters. For a while, it seemed Carla was on track for a sure win.
