Day 1: Laying the Foundation

Kicking off our 2-Day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training: Knowledge is the first step to saving lives!

Under the leadership of Mayor Vilmer B. Bravo, the Committee on Health Hon. Christine Villacruz Bravo, Rhu San Isidro and MDRRMO officially began our intensive BLS Training.

Day 1 was all about building a solid foundation.

Our dedicated participants comprising the SB Committee on Health, RHU personnel, and LDRRM rescuers started the day with a Pre-Test to gauge their baseline knowledge.

This was followed by comprehensive lectures and discussions led by our expert trainers, covering the critical theories behind emergency medical response and life support.

A strong theoretical understanding is key before we jump into the action.

Deeply honored to serve as a judge for the CARES (Caring Acts and Resilience for Environment in School) project at Doña Paulina Elementary School.

Seeing the incredible garden-themed mini parks built with recycled materials and thriving plants showed true dedication from everyone.
