Nutrition Month 2026: Feeding Hearts & Healthy Minds! 🥗🍎✨

A simple yet meaningful celebration as Silvestre Elementary School wrapped up Nutrition Month with an afternoon supplemental feeding for our learners! 🥣 Heartfelt thanks to our dedicated SPTA Officers, led by SPTA President Justine Kay Savariz, for making this nourishing activity possible.

Adding color to our celebration was the surprise arrival of the San Joaquin Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), led by BNS President Mr. Ruel Dela Cruz! The BNS team brought energy and enthusiasm as teachers and learners danced along to the BNS Jingle before launching into an insightful orientation on the 10 Kumainments—a vital guide for healthy living. 💃🕺🥦

We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Virgilio Nacion (Executive Assistant, Office of the Mayor) representing Municipal Mayor Atty. Joe Abad S. Lazaro, Jr., Mrs. Rossana S. Paler (Lomboyan BNS), and BNS representatives from neighboring barangays who joined hands with our school community.

Together, let's keep promoting healthy habits for a stronger, brighter future! 💙

Following the Orange Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA and the official suspension of classes declared by the Office of the Mayor through the San Joaquin DRRM due to Tropical Storm Kiyapo today, July 24, 2026, Silvestre Elementary School has activated its Education in Emergencies (EiE) protocol.

Heavy rains may keep us indoors, but learning never stops! Our pupils are safely continuing their lessons at home utilizing the learning packets and activity worksheets already provided by their respective class advisers.
