The Local Government Unit of San Joaquin, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Joe Abad Lazaro Jr., warmly welcomed the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) โ€“ Misamis Oriental Chapter, headed by PCL President Atty. Louie Jay Jarales, for their benchmarking activity as part of the 2nd Quarterly Continuing Local Legislative Education Program.

The delegation was also formally received by Vice Mayor Ivy Mae Crespo and Sangguniang Bayan Members Marvigrace Getuya, Rhalyn Erika Sarinas, Josephine Daulo, Garry Secuban, and Luz Sandoy. Their visit was facilitated by the Provincial Tourism Office in coordination with the Municipal Tourism Office, headed by Tourism Officer-Designate Jell Lyka A. Sigue, with the support and presence of Provincial Tourism Officer Aulynn B. Yue Sin.

The activity commenced with the pinning of welcome ๐™ ๐™–๐™ง๐™ข๐™š๐™ฃ, followed by a short program showcasing the rich culture, history, and scenic attractions of the Municipality of San Joaquin. The delegation then embarked on a guided tour of the town's notable landmarks, including the historic San Joaquin Church, before concluding their visit at GarinFarm Agritourism Park.

The Municipality of San Joaquin extends its sincere gratitude to the Philippine Councilors League โ€“ Misamis Oriental Chapter for choosing the town as one of the destinations for their educational benchmarking activity.
