The City Budget Office through the Local Finance Committe (LFC) conducted yesterday a Technical Budget Hearing (Executive level) to review the proposed programs, projects and activities of all offices/units in the City Government of San Jose del Monte.

The hearing was participated in by all heads of departments/offices. Their proposed budgets underwent evaluation for refinements and prioritization of programs for the year 2027.

This activity highlighted enormous impact in supporting the implementation of various programs that best promote the sustainable development of our city. Also present were our City Mayor Florida P. Robes, City Administrator Atty. Rizaldy L. Mendoza, Chief-of-Staff Juan Miguel P. San Pedro and LFC members.

The conduct of the last and final batch marks the successful completion of the City Budget Office's Seminar on "Barangay Budgeting: Aligning the Barangay Budget to the City's Vision."

Today's session is being conducted at the Public Hearing Room, New Government Center, CSJDM, Bulacan. This is attended by 11 various Barangays, namely:

Barangay Gumaoc Central , Barangay Gumaoc West, Barangay Gumaoc East, Barangay Poblacion, Barangay Poblacion I, Barangay Francisco Homes - Yakal, Barangay Minuyan Proper, Barangay Tungkong Mangga, Barangay San Pedro, Barangay Sapang Palay Proper and Barangay Lawang Pare.

This initiative, one of the priority programs of City Mayor Hon. Florida P. Robes, underscores the city government's commitment to strengthen financial governance at the Barangay level and to align the Barangays with overall development agenda of the City of San Jose del Monte.

With all Barangays now capacitated, the city moves closer to its vision of achieving sustainable development through responsive local governance.

Spearheaded by the City Mayor Hon. Florida P. Robes, the City Budget Office has been conducting a seminar on “Barangay Budgeting: Aligning the Budget to the City’s Vision”. The seminar will run for 6 days, with the city’s 62 barangays divided into 6 batches to ensure focused discussion and participation.

The first session was conducted yesterday, July 13, 2026.

This activity was attended by Atty. Rizaldy L. Mendoza, City Administrator; Hon. Benjamin G. Acibal Jr., City Councilor; Hon. Zosimo B. Lorenzo, ABC Chairman; Benedict M. Pangan, DILG Director; and Engr. Jemima D. Dumdum, OIC - City Planning and Development Coordinator.

For batch 1, the barangay attendees were: Barangay Fatima I, Barangay Fatima II, Barangay Fatima III, Barangay Fatima IV, Barangay Fatima V, Barangay Minuyan I, Barangay Minuyan II, Barangay Minuyan III, Barangay Minuyan IV, and Barangay Minuyan V.
