The City Cooperative Development Office successfully conducted the Seminar on Conflict Management today at the City Convention Center through the full support of our City Mayor Ate Rida Robes.

The activity was graced by City Administrator Atty. Rizaldy L. Mendoza, who warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of fostering harmonious relationships and sound conflict resolution among cooperative leaders and members.

The participants greatly benefited from the expertise of the resource speakers from the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Ms. Karen Krystel Ysais and Ms. Ana May Doctolera, both Cooperative Development Specialists II, who shared insightful discussions, real-life applications, and effective conflict management techniques that will help strengthen cooperative governance and organizational harmony.

The City Cooperative Development Office (CCDO), as the Secretariat, convened the Executive Meeting and General Assembly of the City Cooperative Development Council (CCDC) on July 10, 2026, bringing together cooperative leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advance the cooperative movement in the City of San Jose del Monte.

The Executive Meeting was led by Ms. Leonila C. Daza, City Cooperatives Officer and Head of the Secretariat, together with the members of the Executive Committee: Ms. Maureen Casela, Treasurer and Chairperson of RICGKTMPC; Ms. Leilani Samiano, Secretary and Chairperson of GTECCO; and Ms. Petronila Canonce, Auditor and Chairperson of SARAMAVEMPCO.

The General Assembly Meeting was attended by officers from various primary cooperatives, representatives of branch-out cooperatives operating in the city, the Chairperson of the Katipunan ng mga Kooperatiba sa Lungsod (Federation), Mr. Romualdo Bawit, Branch Manager of Land Bank of the Philippines, and Hon. Julieta D. Abela, Chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Cooperatives.

The meetings served as an avenue to discuss significant updates, programs, and initiatives aimed at promoting cooperative development, enhancing partnerships, and strengthening the vital role of cooperatives in the city's inclusive and sustainable growth.

With the approval and full support of City Mayor Ate Rida Robes, the City Cooperative Development Office successfully conducted the Seminar on Cooperative Strategic Planning on July 2–3, 2026, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Public Hearing Rooms 1 & 2, New Government Center.

The two-day seminar was attended by officers from various cooperatives in the city, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop effective strategic plans that will guide their organizations toward sustainable growth and long-term success.

The participants gained valuable insights from distinguished resource speakers from the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office – Bulacan: Mr. Jeremias Caguingin, PDO IV, and Ms. Glaiza B. Ignacio, PDO I.
