This initiative aims to promote early detection and prevention of tuberculosis through free chest X-ray services. We encourage all residents, especially those experiencing respiratory symptoms, to take part in this important health campaign.

Mahalaga ang kalusugan ng bawat isa! Alamin ang mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa Tetanus.

Ano ang Tetanus at paano ito nakukuha?
Ang Tetanus ay isang impeksyon na sanhi ng Clostridium tetani, isang karaniwang bacteria na matatagpuan sa lupa, alikabok, dumi, at manure.
Nakukuha ito kapag pumasok sa katawan ang Tetanus spores sa pamamagitan ng mga sugat, lalo na sa mga sugat na marumi, dulot ng matutulis na bagay, o malalim.
Hindi ito nakakahawa mula sa isang tao patungo sa iba.

Ano ang mga sintomas ng Tetanus?
Sakit ng ulo at leeg.
Paninigas ng panga (lockjaw).
Hirap sa paglunok.
Paninigas ng kalamnan sa paligid ng labi, na minsan ay nagiging sanhi ng sapilitang ngiti.
Kapag hindi naagapan, ang mga sintomas ay maaaring kumalat sa buong katawan at maging banta sa buhay.

Paano maiiwasan ang Tetanus?
Linisin ang mga sugat gamit ang sabon at tubig.
Panatilihing may takip at malinis ang mga sugat.
Magpabakuna kaagad. Ang dating pagkakaroon ng Tetanus ay hindi nagbibigay ng pangmatagalang proteksyon, kaya kailangan ang up-to-date na pagbabakuna.
